God of cookery system... But why does it seem like this involves even more than just cooking? Seems like the host has to save the world to me 🤔 host got reincarnated into a world with different species. He has a daughter and later his wife appears but it's not based on romance. (magic, fighting, different races, inventions, some strategic planning and of course cooking and foodies everywhere) After the first 2000 chapters a second system appears. It's really entertaining. I stopped reading to stockpile at chapter 2300 and waited for the story to finish with 2489 chapter. Those 190 chapters were read in a breeze, bringing the novel to a close. Like all the 2300 chapters before the story never got boring and was really refreshing. The system was mentioned less end less towards the end but still played a significant role. I have to be honest the closer I came to the end the more sceptical I became that ist could possible be a good and not abrupt end. Only 20 chapters left... Only 10... 9.... 8...and still no good ending point in sight... But I didn't think of the chapters getting longer in the end. The last chapters till 2485 were roughly 12 coins / 1 fp worth but after that the price rose sharply as you can see next: Ch 2486 - 32 coins / 3 fp Ch 2487 - 55 coins / 6 fp Ch 2488 - 56 coins / 6 fp Ch 2489 - 74 coins / 7 fp In the end I was proven wrong. With those lengthy chapters the story indeed came to a close one a good note. Nothing was left open. I truly recommend you to check out this amazing novel with many different characters and a solid story background. The plot itself was novel as well and held a few big surprises. At the end everything came down to a homey cosy and satisfying end.
I love this book, Amy start from such a poor little girl eating a brick pancake to eating a Manchurian banquet, the love of a father, all the delicacies, superior female staff with their own specialty, strong teachers & Irina with her quirky habits; create unforgettable world which is hard to forget. Where do I find another novel that give me the same satisfaction of readings it. Kudos to the author for your hard work & thank you.🌹🌹🌹
It was interesting but the worst end. It feels like a forced end... a lot of stuff unresolved. I wonder why a lot of stuff happened if it would be end like this?. the story could have continued a lot...

It may takes some time, but if a single dad his left alone to take care of an infant he will adapt and work to provide the child with the best of time. Follow Boss Mag, as he transform from a dangerous knight to a Cook and Restaurant Owner.
It’s a great story and what I loved about it was that at the core it is a story about how the unconditional love ❤️ of a child can make anyone into the hero of their own stories .

The story started with a lot of potential as a father daughter story. Amy starts out cute and a little precocious but towards the end, she becomes a caricature of herself. I suppose Ugly Duckling was going to have is own story arc but that didn't happen. Instead the story went off on a tangent with the harem gathering route, more characters for the sake of more characters. Towards the end, cooking is no longer the main theme, instead it finishes with a James Bond type story where only the MC is involved while Irina, Amy, and all the other characters become stay at home side characters. In the end, guess which country's nationalism raises its head, and makes MC into a god. Hint: Cooking doesn't have anything to do with him becoming a god. Good start but a dismal ending. At least the author tried to tie up loose ends. Would have been good if it had been true to the title, kept up the father daughter dynamic, and created more stories in the restaurant instead of going the standard wuxia route.
This book was very goood and a relaxing enjoyable read. The main character develops nicely with the help of the system. It starts off with a big focus on his daughter and providing for her. To become stronger and a true chef because of the system. The translation quality is also very good and this is an enjoyable to read with some small character developments for everyone. There is some jumping around here and there in plot, but it still flows nicely.
A delightful alternate world story with well paced character development and a gentle application of humor when needed.
I live for the *RRRIIIIPPP* It needs more *RRRIIIIPPP* scene There is less *RRRIIIIPPP* scene now even though the food is supposed to be better... It would be better if Mag makes Irina *RRRIIIIIPPP* Oh, and Amy is best daughter

If your looking for a good, funny, and heartwarming novel then this one is a good recommendation. It was even fun to see the interaction between the father and daughter, then to their customers.
Started good but just got annoying. Plots are repetitive, and the daughter is just plain annoying. I also don't like how all the women just so happened to fall for MC.

Very good novel with nice world , character development , etc.etc. The only thing that I wanna point out is that the system is Chinese cuisine system , and doesn't include many european / american dishes which are the most known . I understand that the author is Chinese or whatever , but for fks sake , if you gonna serve pizza at your restaurant why durian pizza ( what the fk is even that in the first place ) , why not make normal pizza that we all know and can relate . That stands for the desserts as well , having weird stuff ( at least for me who is european) when you can introduce the main world stuff
This is the first webnovel I ever got obsessed with, it's just so darn cozy but not in the annoying way us English like to be. Give me all the fiction where nothing too stressful happens.

It is a very good novel with a good balance between cooking and fighting however there are some parts which dropped it to a 4. One of them being how amy acts although it gets better later on in the novel it can be quite annoying. another problem is the challenges between restaurants becoming repetitive with not really any changes between them

What a great novel! It is fun and interesting to read! This belong to one of my top 10. There are almost no fillers, every chapter is a good one that contributes to the story. You will just want to read and read. It's sad that it ended though but it was really appreciated.

What a great novel! It is fun and interesting to read! This belong to one of my top 10. There are almost no fillers, every chapter is a good one that contributes to the story. You will just want to read and read. It's sad that it ended though but it was really appreciated.
