Aristophaneso So the championship fish/trophy fish is used by the author as if it were actually a type of fish. I don’t know. I guess the logic is that if a fish wins a competition it’s a trophy fish now. This just sounds weird to me, but I suppose it makes sense.
*Pu is a spitting sound (even if you spit nothing) that in this context is supposed to call up the image of someone spitting out his drink when he’s surprised by something funny (used sarcastically)
