With each tremor-like heartbeat, Attie doubled in size, and in almost no time, she was way taller than an average human.
The angels around her sensed something ominous and quickly took to the sky, distancing themselves as much as they could from Attie.
Soon, Attie had grown into a giant. With a ten-meter high torso, the Kitty Cat Maid now bore no resemblance to her former cute self. Her eyes were now cold, and her expression was one of indifference. As Giantess Attie hovered in midair, her enormous shadow darkened the floating island. Her dark tan — which certain Voidwalkers considered her sexiest feature — was now gone, leaving her as pale-white as a marble statue.
Attie appeared to have absorbed the War God's Sword, as a glowing diamond-shaped shard could be seen on her forehead. The shard exuded red, yellow, and blue light, causing terrifying waves of power to surge around Attie.
This chapter is brought to you by a hearty dose of Heilung! In some parts anyway; I can’t stick to the same band or music genre for hours. I’m listening to “In Maidjan” — a pretty popular track! — but my favorite is “Krigsgaldr.” Give it a try; I often hear people say they get pumped and feel like they are warriors in a battle or something similarly epic, so I wonder what kind of imagery would your mind conjure. As for me, it's monsters and crows and rats feasting on unrecognizable dead bodies in the woods. And they somehow aren't looking at me — oh, the same thing happens to me in my dreams too! Just hanging around, somehow completely unnoticed, unseen, unheard, invisible.
