This has to be one of the worst translations I've read to date, and I've read quite a lot. Couldn't make it past chapter 10, the choice of words alone is an atrocity to the English language. I think I'd rather rub my balls over a cheese grater than read ~3400 chapters of a novel with an intentionally ruined ending.

A fresh new look on cultivation/martial arts novel. The MC is decisive and always kills the enemy by the root. He is loyal to one woman and i like the way he solves problems. The world background is good and the cultivation stuff doesn't give me headaches on stages of cultivation or martial arts. Sadly it stopped updating for 6 months!

love this novel and have re-read it like 3 times so am I being stupid as I have no idea if they have dropped this or will someone come and pick it up as it hasn't been updated in a loonnnnnnng time and I know this novel in raws has been completed with just over 3000 chapters

I really like this novel. The only problem is that the update has pretty much stopped. The MC Chu Li is fairly OP and the novel is mostly fast paced in the beginning...and then it basically goes on hiatus for hundreds of chapters. So far, only about 1200 chapters are translated, Chu Li goes from Foundation > Innate Master > Grandmaster in a bit more than 200 chapters...and now at around 1200...he is still a Grandmaster. He has basically treaded around Grandmaster and searching for the path to being Enlightened for over 1000 chapters. According to Novel Update, this WRC has 3453 chapters and per wiki there are 6 more realms after Enlightened Master...so...a third or more of the novel is spent at 1 realm...talk about drawing out the story.

I can't believe I ignored this novel for sooooo long! This is amazing... Better than most....Content is very good cause I still find it interesting even after 600+ chapters!

i love this novel and enjoy the consistent release but recently the releases have been slow and the author must not be translating anymore as the number of chapters has been at 1215 for a while even though the book has 3400 chapters
I really like how this novel has a character who used to be a particle physicist, which is so unique. It really appeals to the nerdy side of me, and I like how the main character uses his knowledge to his advantage. Good read!

One of the few novels here on Webnovel, that isn't tr*sh. Though it has a rough start, it soon became unique and intruiging. There is no face-slapping arrogant 2D characters. All of them seem to have personality, ALL of them. You can see how some mature, how some become indifferent, all in all we see how the MC developes. He matures, faces setbacks, plans go awry and he grows in character through all this. He was similar in nature to many of the common 2d-face-slapping novels the majority (of some reason I still cannot comprehend) enjoys. Wanted to marry the most beautiful women and beat down all arrogant young masters. So this is precisely what he aims for, in the beginning. He soon realizes that this isn't one of those novels he's read in the past. People change, both enemies and allies alike. So far, he fell in love with one woman and did everything he could to woe her, after hundreds of chapters later, we finally saw some love sprout in her as well (even though, it might be snuffed out due to a reason I will not spoil, no worries no ntr). He finds other women pleasing to the eye, but never takes a step away from his love. This novel is full of passion, schemes and characters (with character). Anywho, this rant of a review is over. I really enjoyed reading this. I seriously hope it isn't dropped, cause I would literally just stop visiting this site, nothering else here is of any value (unless you are into face-slapping cardboard cutouts, as most of q*d**n is filled with)
I love it. Great read and world building. The characters that are introduced through out the story all have their own backgrounds, allowing me to feel the depths of the world the author is creating
I tried to like it, i really did. I enjoy slow reads with unique cultivation/plot. Just not this one. The characters are downright bad, every single one of them. As most have point out, the mc has a low IQ even tho he's supposed to be a genius and well learned. The FML or atleast the current one from the first 20 chapters is equally if not dumber. and so are te others. The translation quality.... i couldn't understand half of the story if i tried to read fast. Names kept changing and sometimes the sentence structure tried to confuse you. (not to mention the author tried to confuse you too with things he never explained... for example certain skills. He tells a skill is good but not what it does) Story development... i guess it should be alright? I mean his purpose in life is being rich, have bitches and smoke weed.... So he is trying to accomplish that. The world... i haven't read enough to see anything besides a garden, which wasn't really shown or told about much either. Anywho, bad novel if you ask me.
Garbage book. Author tries to show political intrigue but they all are mental retards. And the protagonist is a spineless hypocrite. Proceed at your own risk. I don't know how people even read this.

An extremely arrogant MC who acts like everybody owns him. Through it says he's cool headed, there's hardly anything like that. Impulsive idiotic and survive mostly only due to being MC. Honestly only read upto first 70 chapters. Couldn't bring myself to read the rest😪. ( NB: I don't know if it become better later. )
Every character is not likable. Su ru, Zhao Ying, Xiao qi, and etc are all annoying characters that I absolutely cannot stand(especially Zhao ying).

I really like this book. I wish we were already in the 3k mark but that's only because I want more all the time. I can't even remember all of the other books I've started and finished waiting on this one.
Just ridiculously blank and isnt honestly a good read. The mc is just too dumb and his reasoning are dumber. It just a mashed up story going on about how it is good to lick others boots and othe stuff. Just not good enough.
