"Is he your sweetheart, Miss Yue Ru?" the handsome young man said with a huff.

Yue Ru broke into laughter. "Young Master Lu, what are you talking about!"

"If he's not your sweetheart, why can't I go and meet him?" The young man scoffed.

"It's just too abrupt," Yue Ru replied with a patient smile. "Alright, Young Master Lu. You can meet him some other day. I shall leave first."

She gave him a curtsy and gracefully left the room.
