Chapter 1004: Clash

"Alright, I know," Su Xianghua said. "Thanks a lot."

"You don't have to go that far, Uncle," Wang Yao said. "I'm just doing what I'm supposed to."

"There is no need for too many people to know about this."

"I know what to do."

"That's good to hear." Su Xianghua chuckled. The two men walked out of the study and went to the dining room. The whole family had a good time at lunch.

After eating, Wang Yao accompanied Su Xiaoxue to school. She had classes to attend in the afternoon.

"What did you talk about with my dad?" she asked. "You guys were being so mysterious. Was it something to do with Guo Zhenghe?"

"Yeah."

Wang Yao told Su Xiaoxue some of the details, which ironically, were more detailed than what he had told Su Xianghua.

"He's a schemer with bad behaviors and attitude," Su Xiaoxue said. "Now, is he a killer too?"

"I'm afraid this wasn't the first time," Wang Yao said.
