Collecting the Fragments

After Mao Mao and his adjutant left, Zhao Yao gazed at Anthony and other Star Cats.

"I'm going to be straightforward. Stay for a year and work for me. After that, you can leave and I won't stop you."

The four Star Cats were prepared for the worst after witnessing what happened to Mao Mao. Their eyes lit up and looked at Zhao Yao. "Is that for real?"

They thought they had to be Zhao Yao's slaves forever. They were able to leave after a year of work so they felt happy.

Zhao Yao nodded and said, "My cats have freedom to leave as I don't like to enslave supercats. With your superpower, if I didn't watch over you, wouldn't you have left?"

The four Star Cats looked at each other and conversed telepathically among themselves. Finally, Anthony came forward and said, "Fine Zhao Yao, we'll work one year for you."

Convincing the four Star Cats was much easier than he thought and he heaved in relief.
