Antoncel did his best to persuade Veil, the person in charge on the Victory, to provide two rest rooms. However, the maximum stay of 24 hours could not be changed. Thankfully, after waiting a few hours, Gao Yang and his group would be able to board a passing container ship and leave.
After being led to the cabins for a brief rest, Antoncel gave Gao Yang a bitter smile and said, "I think I'll spend some time on deck. You guys catch some sleep. I'll wake you up at two. Veil said we can use a dinghy to get to the passing merchant ship as long as we pay, so there's nothing to worry about. Have a good sleep."
Antoncel did not complain about how Gao Yang's actions had cost him a chance to make a fortune. He treated Gao Yang and the others just as he always had. But the more Antoncel remained the same, the guiltier Gao Yang felt.
Watching Antoncel leave the cabin with a look of dejection, Gao Yang suddenly said, "I feel like we can't just let this go."
