Gu Xijiu tried to contact Fan Qianshi using her sensing ability to get him to stay with Wu Qianyan and be her caretaker. Still, the boy never answered or returned her call.

Her sensing ability was supposed to be a form of telepathic communication. Only her disciple and her servant were equipped with the ability to receive her call. She could easily reach out to them as long as they stayed within a radius of a few hundred miles.
