Dropped at chapter 2 story is rediculouly all over the place. Chapter 1 MC takes over body then moves to mountain to train in some art left by father of original owner of body Chapter 2 turns out MC had not taken over body and moved to mountain to train in some art left by father but that it was original owner who trained in art and died allowing MC to take over body Yes I didn't read enough chapters to give accurate review but if you are that inconsistent within 2 chapters what would be the fucking point in reading it

This is a pretty good story, ruined by a low quality translation. This is in line with the terrible standards of this site. The translators don't bother translating basic terms from pinyin and regularly make grammatical mistakes. Even mistakes like randomly changing characters' genders occur.

Giving up 75 chapters in. Either the story was written quite poorly or the translation's butchering the story. Its quite quite difficult to follow whats happening for several reasons including missing or slightly malformed sentences which make it quite difficult to understand what is happening and make you think you may have missed a paragraph, An overreliance on Chinese poems religon and mythology which could work if any of it were explained - as it stands it just seems like a way of extending the text. Overall it had potential but I don't think it'll ever really be worth reading.

The story became more of a narrative after he became a Celestial. Everything is said in some ways to make it sounds overly complicated. Flowery words amongst other things. There was also a part where his Senior Brother Chen got kidnapped(killed?) and the disciples in the Temple of Killings were all killed except one. When he discovered that, he was all calm and rational. Saying that life is like so and whatnot. That he has to have considerations or something for his Sect. That his sect must continue onward with or without Chen Jianmei. This kinda pisses me off. He's become quite... dull. Boring I should say. Maybe it's just the translations or something but the story is less interesting from then on.

Action packed fights, intense training scenes, and interesting cultivation methods, are all things you won't find in this story. The translation itself is a slog to read through, partially due to the overly flowery language and content of the source material. So far 47 ch in, there has been many more pgs dedicated to poetry that doesn't translate well, or at least hasn't been, than pgs of fighting, cultivating, and learning combined. I feel like author is trying to show off how cultured he is. The fights are very bland as far as I can interpret from the confusing translation. Mc suddenly get good at techniques without any on screen training or exploration of the technique itself. This does have some potential, Mc is interestingat least, but potential was squandered by poor translating and writing.

I really like this novel and it's my favorite novel now. I had enough of all the stupid mcs who think with their **** and does stupid young masters so i was looking for a like time for a novel like this l. But the translation is a little bad partly because he doesn't has an editor to help and the problem is nobody likes these types of novels they like does annoying harem novels withs lots of faceslaps. What basically happens in those novels is tge mc goes to a place the annoying young master looks down on him then he starts to fight the antagonist says the name of his technique the bystanders keep says the mc is going to lose he is week he can't win and then bam!!!. O and it still isn't finished the young masters whole family goes after hin annoy him till he destroys the family. And the keeps on repeating itself. I used to like it years ago when i first started read Chinese novel but now it's very annoying and keeps on getting on my nerves. What i hate in Chinese cultivation novels: 1: fighting enemies with cultivation a lot more the you. 2: be very young but still stronger and smarter than people millions of years older then you. 3: heals limbs and his whole body easily even when he becomes a lot stronger. 4: Cultivate with a unique technique and become so strong the cultivation levels don't matter (one of my favorite things in novels is when he enters new cultivation realms so my favorite movels Re the ones whose cultivation is the same as everybody alse. 5: Harems And forget many othe important ones.

I really like this novel and it's my favorite novel now. I had enough of all the stupid mcs who think with their **** and does stupid young masters so i was looking for a like time for a novel like this l. But the translation is a little bad partly because he doesn't has an editor to help and the problem is nobody likes these types of novels they like does annoying harem novels withs lots of faceslaps. What basically happens in those novels is tge mc goes to a place the annoying young master looks down on him then he starts to fight the antagonist says the name of his technique the bystanders keep says the mc is going to lose he is week he can't win and then bam!!!. O and it still isn't finished the young masters whole family goes after hin annoy him till he destroys the family. And the keeps on repeating itself. I used to like it years ago when i first started read Chinese novel but now it's very annoying and keeps on getting on my nerves. What i hate in Chinese cultivation novels: 1: fighting enemies with cultivation a lot more the you. 2: be very young but still stronger and smarter than people millions of years older then you. 3: heals limbs and his whole body easily even when he becomes a lot stronger. 4: Cultivate with a unique technique and become so strong the cultivation levels don't matter (one of my favorite things in novels is when he enters new cultivation realms so my favorite movels Re the ones whose cultivation is the same as everybody alse. 5: Harems And forget many othe important ones.
