Chapter 1197: Investigation

Pi's nameless book could, in theory, search for anything in the universe, including the past, present, and future of the universe. However, in general, Pi looked more at past events because the future was uncertain, and there were too many possibilities. Furthermore, it was more difficult to find out exactly what was happening now, as there were restrictions to doing so. For example, one could not involve other elfins. Like the previous case of cat abuse, the nameless book was unable to provide much of a trace of the Holy Cat statue. 

Last night, Zhang Zian had tried to get Pi to do a preliminary inquiry using the book.

Although it involved Sihwa the mermaid, the restriction could be bypassed by pitching that the act could save a country and not checking directly who blackmailed Sihwa. The goal was to find out what happened two months after the incident, whether any small to medium anchors behaved abnormally.
