Write a reviewJeez, how many Reincarnation novels is Qidian seriously planning to pump out -_- The hypnosis could use a bit of thickening it sounds a bit dry - Wish the translator the best of luck o7
From what I've read so far, I believe that this novel definitely has potential and if it is done right it could be pretty good. So all that's left is to wait for more chapters. I will be changing this review based on how the novel developed. Hopefully it will be a good one.
PLEASE DO NOT CENSOR A STORY!!!! Noone wants to read a story that was cut or censored. You can add warnings or stuff like that but why cut it!?
I liked it in the beginning but the further the story went, the more I hated the story. The character development is stupid as there is no depth to the characters in the story. The supporting characters are laughable and pathetic. It's like the author made them very stupid in order to emphasize the MC's intelligence. The MC's character is inconsistent and the timeline twists are a petty excuse for prolonging the story.
I'v reed about 53 chapters... full of nonsense... every chapter is full of gibberish, pointles explanations and so on... Very weak story develpment, very week character design, World build hmm lets not talk bout that there is no such thing in this novel.
Pretty good start. Interesting premise. I like that the mc will have magic and physical prowess. Also realistic that after two years he can only produce a small fireball, I like that. We'll have to see where this goes.
The story starts out fairly interesting with a uniquely mature protagonist, finding his place in a new world and it's pretty interesting for a couple of chapters but after a certain event where the protagonist kills someone he shouldn't have and needs to go on the run, the story gradually becomes stale, the chapters become more long winded and I can't really get into anything because the story and characters seem to have become nearly completely aimless, I even skimmed like half of the chapters I've read and I never felt like I missed out a single thing. The protagonist has had completely no development since early on, and while the side characters do develop, they're very basic characters through and through, nothing special to see there. Everything always somehow just works out for the protagonist and there are plot holes as ridiculous as one chapter an arm of the protagonist get broken and the next it's like the author completely forgot... The worst thing about the translation is that htere are often pov changes that happen without any indication, we're literally talking about 1 paragraph being from mc's perspective and the next from another's, there's no transition at all most of the time. It's quite ridiculous.
I really like the MC of this series; he's actually level headed unlike other novels where the author describes the MC as a genius, level headed and such but they're just really lucky they didn't get murdered If you like a badass MC with supporting characters with actual substance then this series is for you
The story was pretty okay in my humble opinion but for **** sake, what was with that ending!? I spent the past two days chowing down the story because I was hooked by the premise, action and the character interaction but the ending was a major letdown. I want to know what happen to the main character and his wife! >:C Give me more closure, dammit!
Reveal SpoilerThe translation quality is amazing, the stability of the updates is also great...However, the novel itself su.cks, it started well with a martial arts Mc and lots of amazing fighting scenes, but the Mc literally doesn’t approve the slightest bit and Iv’e read over 300 chapters, he’s still weak, always gets pulled in a mess and doesn’t even notice it, in fact, it became a novel that just keeps on talking about 18th century politics and it pisses me off soooo much... The Mc is literally useless, he’s not even an assassin, the name of the novel itself has to change... the story is sooo damn slow at developing that I’m literally thinking of dropping it before becoming crazy..In conclusion, if you love reading novels about pathetic Mc that can’t even control their fate and also don’t try to do so, instead they always get the short end of the stick, also if you want to read a story that literally doesn’t advance in its development, always stick in one place yet full of political useless freaking damn battles, then be my guest.
Character Design is really not bad also the story is interesting world background is not cleared for me yet , story Development is what make it interesting, those who who like TEM will also lile this story, until now there is no harem (ch 17) which is cool for me , also there is a possibility that the mc will love (0.9%) i don't think that there is a problem with the translation quality, just hoping for someone to clarify the classes the ranks of magicians and warriors. Looking forward for the storyline developing. What i like about this story - appears to be realistic about the human nature (opinion). - the story have potional (opinion). - the mc is cool af (fact) - the mc is a malble character. - the idea of the settings of this story. When we will see a glossary for the novels ???
The story is good but the mc is a dip****. Oh, you guys are doing something wrong. But I am too lazy to tell you about it. So I'll just watch you guys die and if ever for some luck you survive. First thing I will tell you is I told you so. Mc is a useless asshole and funny thing is, he think he is some kind of a hero.
Ehh I think I’m done reading this story it’s not bad but just far too frustrating an annoying. it’s really filled with contradictions say one thing then do another your reincarnated from earth in a world where those who can use an do magic are pretty much worshiped and everything else is pretty much looked down on and you just so happen to be able to do physical an magic abilities yet are so against magic because you are the best assassin of all time from earth you would think someone like this would realize it can help him be more adaptable and flexible when confronting enemies dosent help the mc can’t keep a secret to save his own life.
This is has made my top 3......of regrettable choices. Literally the worst character design, plot, and world build. The king 🤴🏿 is a great day to god for me and....f your 140 characters
I don't usually write reviews but I felt like this novel wasn't getting the attention that it deserves. The story has character development, plenty of action and alot of violence and no haren(so far) if I had to say anything bad then it would be that the MC is kind of a hypocrite when it come to killing people overall its a great story that is worth the time
I really really like this novel. The beginning phase were so intriguing and make me curious on what might happen... but then romance route came so early whyyyyy really why? The killing was good and everything in between compliments it all. But why susanna? The reasoning after meeting susanna became ridiculous, niya sometimes there and many times not when in fact she is included in their first party, the princess became nonexistent too like really why? The romance looks so trying hard. But I still read cause it might be good again but then I read other reviews who already finished this novel and I was at lost what should I do? So gonna read this again after lots of chapters come up.
Where is the end of the story? It is missing at least 5 - 20 chapters to finish correctly, right? Because there, it is: He conquered the last great wicked ... And that's all. When is he of himself? Has his emotional state disappeared? How does he manage this for Suzanna? How does Christian end with the legacy of the throne? What becomes of Alice, will she ask him, or vice versa? With or without the help or interference of Suzanna, one way or the other ... Where is the end, what ... It's the big void, there ... Empty...
Reveal Spoileri have read about 70 chapters and this is my review, there a while lot more downsides to the story than upsides. The novel has a good story and a decent MC with decent word building but that's about it. I sincerely hope that this book is a translation because other than that I can't find another good reason for how bad the writing is. From purely a grammatical standpoint this novel feels like it's written by a 4th to 6th grader; words that don't even make sense are used in sentences, phrases that don't go along with the story, and the writing only gets worse as the story progresses. And the story development isn't a whole lot better, characters show little to no improvement over entire lengths of the novel, the author is constantly switching up the classifications of power systems(never explains it either), and for some reason the language of the novel completely changes after chp 73 like there's a while new author writing the story.
This novel is about an assassin who died in an incident like 'god drops flowerpot' and finds himself before an old evil mage. After escaping form the evil grandpa, he strives for a stable life and maybe learn some of the more useful magic tricks in-between. But unfortunately for our MC trouble keeps coming his way, so we, the readers can enjoy a nice action filled story. The story does not feel forced and the decision and actions taken are reasonable. (So it's not just 'Plot armor!' and 'Why do I need reason?') Spoiler ahead! You have been warned! Our MC is not almighty, so he has to work hard for his achievements. At the beginning the story settles down in one location, but afterwards our MC travels around, because 'read the story'. He steals the hearts of some girls while showing off his smart side and rescues some people from sticky situations. While he advances on his path in this new world, he gains trust and makes some enemies. Our typical story of a run-off-the-mill hero. Wait! Maybe not? Yeah, he might have some serious trust issues and he is a bit on the ruthless side, but that doesn't mean he can't be a hero! ... Oh! You mean for a hero he is too calculating, scheming and uncaring? Hmmm, so maybe he is no hero after all. But our MC gets cased, worshipped and schemed against occasionally and from time to time he might get admired, loved and respected (and even stalked by a little adorable creature) so he has his reasons. Sometimes he even has to deal with zombies, unicorns and some undead mages who want to get ahold of him. So the story has a good flow and it never really gets boring. I recommend this novel to those who like antiheroes, many fight scenes, mages and sword fighters, scheming MC, a bit of romance, evil organizations, power hierarchy, companions, adventures and don't have anything against the mysterious backgrounds of a few main & side characters. Please enjoy your time reading!
