Just as Lin Fan was preparing to absorb the rest of the killing intent, this unknown voice rang out in his ears from nowhere.

"Who I am does not matter. But please, little buddy, please have mercy and spare the remaining killing intent in this place." The voice rang through once more. It was calm and relaxed, without any bit of change in it.
Lin Fan checked out his surroundings warily. Other than the musky dust all around him, there was nothing else.
But where in the world was this voice coming from? That was weird indeed.

Anyways, this chapter is going to be free with courtesy from the QD side because of the mistake that was committed by me and my editor in doubling the same chapter for 515. I offered to take a pay cut but they're quite nice.
(Update on the Chapter 515 issue. The webnovel team has replied on my comments in Chapter 515. That chapter will be made free instead and all SS spent on it will be refunded. At least based on my understanding of that comment. Will follow up with it as we go along.)
Now, I've got something to add on though. Honestly, some of the comments which are more vicious really did leave me pretty disappointed. 8 SS is the pricetag that you guys are putting on my integrity? Seriously? Gosh. Guys! Give me more credit than that man! If I HONESTLY wanted to cheat you guys of your SS, why stop at 8? I could have easily tripled, heck, quadripled the chapters. Just kidding :P
Even my TL thoughts and the time I spent writing and researching on them is more than enough to be chapters of their own cumulatively.
I dont know. I may not have THAT much life experience of my own and I'm sure I've got many more things to learn, but i've learnt quite a few lessons in life. More often than not, the way I react to or handle a situation tells more about my own character than the perpetrators themselves. So I'm just going to leave that here.
