With a flick of her wrist, she passed a formation blueprint over.
Zhang Xuan took the blueprint and began studying it.
To make an analogy to his previous world, if the Jade Communication Token could be viewed as a cell phone, the formation would be a cell towers, serving to strengthen the transmission signals so that the message would be able to travel a greater distance.

When it comes to calligraphy, it's really hard to imagine it being in English, which is why I added the Chinese characters in front to give an idea of how the inscribed character would be like (Don't worry, Chinese characters are not counted in the word count at all). This is especially since so English words tend to be rectangular whereas Chinese characters take a more 'squarish' form (take for example, 'Erudition' VS '智'. Erudition is rather long, which makes it look less elegant when inscribed on, let's say, a door, as compared to '智'.).
But still, I understand that these characters mean very little to you all, so if you all don't like it, I'll remove them.
