Chapter 3: Day 3: Road Trip

As we stayed in a Hotel for a while, it was time for me and Grandpa to get going but not before saying goodbye to the women that grandpa helped, i really don't understand people like them.

As we went on the road, I looked at grandpa and saw he kept on touching on his chest, I didn't know what he was playing at but I knew that it was something and something that it was.

Grandpa saw me looking at him and just said, "Hey, hey kiddo, ignore me, I'm just uhm ... uh exercising, yeah, very healthy". I found that Suspicious before but then I just ignored it.

As we made our way, I looked outside and first handily, witnessed the beautiful ocean, it was majestic to see and it made me wonder why I never properly experienced something like this.

I came that conclusion where I wanted to ask, "Grandpa, why don't I remember mom and dad?" he looked at me as if he was waiting for me to ask that question, he was quiet for a sudden but then ....

There was a festival happening soon so me and grandpa decided to go but the problem was that it was going to be a while, so we made sure that we had enough gas and got to anywhere safe.

"Listen kiddo, your mom and dad were at a tight spot and they had a falling out and they had divorced when you were born and they knew that you would get hurt because of them so they left you with me".

I knew about my parents leaving me but never knew it like this, as I took the truth I came across a girl, that looked homeless, grandpa stopped the car and asked if she wanted a ride somewhere.

She declined but he insisted, she said that she was going to a festival and was waiting for someone, poor thing, I didn't mind, which was strange, it seemed like I was changing.

This made me feel a bit weird and we went with the girl, she looked around my age, just to be clear, and after we were almost running out of gas, we found a Motel and planned to stay the night.

Thankfully grandpa brung extra gas tanks in case of any fuel loss, after that she waved goodbye and hoped to see her again, it seemed the person she was waiting for was in the Motel waiting for her.

I honestly looked as she left with that driver? it looked like she was rich because only rich people could afford a driver like that but she looked like any commoner.

Grandpa booked us in and we spent our night planning on where to go.

Grandpa and I talked on where we were going, then a phone call came on my phone, it was her, Mia, I was excited and answered to hear that she was going to be at the festival with Ryan and the others.
