"Are you saying he's from another universe?"
Stark spoke in disbelief, "But he's just a strong man with claws and a healing factor. Aside from that, he's no different from a regular person. How could he possibly have the ability to travel through the multiverse?"
"That's right, he's from another universe."
Ned nodded firmly, saying, "Looks like I need to leave quickly."
"Stark, please contact Strange. He'll know how to send this guy back to his own place."
"Also, we'll need Wanda to destroy Ultron's five Infinity Stones. Finally, I'll take the time machine you used to return the stones and head back myself."
Ned spoke rapidly, pulling out the five Infinity Stones that Ultron had.
"Alright."
Although still a bit skeptical, Tony Stark nodded after seeing how serious Ned was. He then instructed Friday to contact Doctor Strange and Wanda.
"So, what do we do with this wild man from another universe for now?"
After getting in touch with Strange and Wanda, Stark pointed to Logan and asked Ned.
"Just leave him be for now."
Ned thought for a moment before replying.
"Stark, before I leave, aren't you planning to give me a farewell gift?"
"What?"
"Like a Stark-manufactured smartphone—top-quality and cutting-edge intelligence."
"Uh… fine."
Tony Stark didn't expect Ned to ask for a farewell gift, much less that it would be something as mundane as a smartphone. For a moment, he was stunned.
"In that case, let the Wakandans provide the materials for the phone's casing and screen."
As Ned and Stark spoke, the other heroes arrived. Hearing their conversation, Black Panther T'Challa smiled and said, "I'm sure, Ned, you wouldn't refuse having Vibranium for your phone casing and screen, would you?"
"That would be amazing!"
Ned replied excitedly, "It's perfect for someone in my line of work, dealing with all kinds of strange enemies. With a Vibranium phone, I'll never have to worry about breaking my phone again!"
"Hey, Stark, maybe Princess Shuri should handle this for me. Her understanding of Vibranium is certainly better than yours, and Wakanda's tech is also top-notch."
Ned patted Tony on the shoulder as he spoke.
"Are you underestimating Tony Stark?"
Tony snapped back, clearly annoyed. "I swear, you'll be amazed by the phone I'll make for you."
"I'm off to prepare this gift for the brat. Vibranium, send it over quickly."
Leaving those words behind, Tony turned and walked away.
But just as he turned around, a soft beep sounded. From the wreckage of the building, a holographic projection suddenly appeared. It showed none other than Tony Stark himself.
Tony was startled at the sight of the projection and was about to instruct Friday to turn it off when Ned lunged forward and clamped a hand over his mouth.
"Everyone craves a happy ending, right?"
"But reality doesn't always go as we wish. Perhaps this is one of those times."
"I hope, when you're seeing this, you're celebrating."
"I hope families are reunited. I hope everything returns to normal. I hope this planet gets back on track—if that's even possible."
"Oh, what a beautiful world we have, not to mention the entire universe."
"If you'd told me ten years ago that we weren't alone in the universe, let alone all that's happened since, I probably wouldn't have been so shocked."
"But then again, who could have known? The forces of light and dark have already revealed themselves. Whether the outcome is good or bad, that's for Morgan to discover when she grows up."
"So I figured I should record this in advance, just in case I don't make it."
"After all, for me, death isn't exactly an unexpected outcome. Tomorrow, we're going to…"
"Phew—damn it! Friday, shut it off!"
Halfway through the video, Tony finally managed to pry Ned's hand off his mouth. Flustered and annoyed, he shouted at Friday like a child whose secret had been exposed.
"Hmph!"
Shooting Ned a glare, Tony walked up to the holographic device in the rubble and grabbed it. "Damn it, this thing should be smashed to pieces and thrown in the trash!"
"Tony…"
Pepper, who had already deactivated her suit, walked up and held Tony's hand, her eyes full of emotion.
"Pepper…"
"Uh… uh… cough, cough!"
Rhodey, ever the tactless one, suddenly coughed loudly and said, "Weren't we talking about the wild man from the multiverse?"
"Rhodey, I swear, one day you're going to get punched hard because of that mouth of yours."
Glaring at Rhodey, Tony and Pepper then took Morgan's hand and left.
"Wanda, I'm counting on you." Ned approached Wanda, who was standing quietly amidst the crowd, and handed her the five Infinity Stones.
"Mm."
Wanda nodded silently and followed Ned to a distance. After five powerful bursts of energy, the five Infinity Stones dissolved into energy and dispersed into the surroundings.
"Ned! Where's the multiverse visitor?"
Doctor Strange arrived in a hurry and called out to Ned.
"Over there!"
Ned shouted back, quickly leading Strange to where Logan was trapped inside the armor.
"Well."
After observing Logan closely and confirming he was indeed from another universe, Strange moved his hands rapidly. Finally, he condensed a mystical rune in his right hand and pressed it onto Logan's forehead.
"Argh!!!"
With a painful roar and a flash of golden light, Logan vanished completely, leaving behind only two large craters on the ground and six claw marks on the suit of armor as evidence of his presence.
Oh wait, the claw marks on the armor were fully repaired the moment he disappeared.
"When are you leaving?"
After sending Logan away, Strange turned to Ned and asked.
"Tomorrow, hitching a ride on the time machine they used to return the stones." Ned replied.
"Alright, just remember, no more funny business." Strange stared at Ned seriously.
He strongly suspected that the multiverse visitor's appearance had something to do with Ned's presence disrupting the order of the multiverse.
After all, he didn't sense even a hint of magical energy from Logan.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing."
Casually brushing Strange off, Ned then went to find others to ask for farewell gifts.
