Chapter 6: Baron Xavier
Klyde was sitting down on table by himself, wondering what to do. Earlier while Klyde was getting his payment, he noticed Emily acting a but weird. She was starring at him before she ran off. She looked rather panicked as she even used a spell to speed herself up.
"I think I have 2 or 3 hours before sundown. But I also want to relax for now so I'm not going monster hunting. I'm not sure if there's anything entertaining here for me to do.
I guess I should study about my soon to be nation."
Klyde spent the remainder of his time reading about Erina until it was sundown. He left the guild in search for a inn.
He ended up finding a cheap in that charged 50 copper per night and he payed for 7 days as he planned to leave after he completed his 2 quests as he's on a time limit.
Morning came and Klyde was feeling rather dreadful. And what he woke up to didn't make him feel any better.

'Huh? Daily Quest?' Klyde paused for a few seconds. "Wait, daily quests?! You've gotta be kidding… Killing 10 Frost wolves was already a pain… Now this?! I might just incinerate that entire forest."
Klyde got off his bed and put on some black spandex with glowing blue circuit board like pattens.
"Putting on that armour was such a freaking pain. Thank god the inventory menu also has an equipment section."
Klyde's armour then appeared on his body.

After leaving his inn, Klyde went to go buy breakfast. He found a bakery and bought some buns for 5 copper the he went straight to the guild.
(Note: any mentions of bronze coins were mistaken for copper)
As he entered the guild he noticed that there were far less adventures than yesterday. 8 to be exact. He decided to appr the guild attendant for questioning.
"Excuse me miss, why are there little adventures today?" Klyde asked her
"Oh, did you not hear? Xavier said that no one should go monster hunting for the moment. He discovered a Sapphire rank monster in our woods. He estimates that it's a class D or C."
'So it's too dangerous to go out is what she's saying. Though I'm not sure I want to deal with the system's penalties. How high is Sapphire anyways and who even is Xavier.'
Klyde had many questions about the matter but one thing was certain to him. He was going to hunt monsters either way.
"Okay, and who is this Xavier?" Klyde asked. He purposefully chose to ask about Xavier and not the ranks since he knew that the book tell him that. Or at least he hoped.
"Oh, I forgot you're new here. Xavier is the baron of this place. He's also the strongest adventure here at class E, Sapphire rank. I don't think he'll be hard for you to miss."
'So he's a noble… I hope he's not a bad guy or knows about my book.'
"Thanks for the info. I'll be going now."
"Okay then. Have a great day."
——Forest - Baron Xavier domain——
'I hear a few adventures in the area. So some are still hunting monsters. Does hunting them down also level them up?'
"I have to kill 10 monsters huh. I hope this strategy works."

Klyde dashed forward towards the tree and ran up it. The momentum threw him to air, leaving the other adventures confused as to what it was that was in the air.
Looking around he saw a pack of wolves surrounding a brown, squirrel like moster. Twice the size of an actual squirell. Perfect.

Klyde aimed his blaster at the group as it started charging similar to when on 50% output. Klyde fired his blaster, incinerating all the monsters there.

As that moment, Klyde realized he did not receive his bonus exp, which confused him. Was he getting bonus exp because it was his first day of was there something deeper to it.
He made sure to memorize where he killed the monsters and as he landed he immediately dashed there to collect his recources.
When he got there he had the same results. 5 Frost Wolf Cores and everything else was incinerated.
"I fear what I could have done to this world If I wore the model 5"
