My alarm doesn't wake me up.

Empty cans litter my tiny apartment floor, mixed with open textbooks and scattered notes. My uniform from yesterday is crumpled on the floor where I tossed it, and there's at least three different spell theory books spread across my bed.

[Look at me, actually studying like some kind of nerd. LOL.]

But today's not just any day. Today's the fucking Arcane Symposium, and this bitch is gonna SERVE.

I stretch, yawning. The morning sun peeks through my cheap-ass blackout curtains that still don't actually black out shit, painting stripes across my thighs.

And yet, there's a smirk on my face. Today is my day. I'm gonna make it my day.
