Chapter 24: 24 Strange World…..

Eva heard about Celine's condition and came to check up on her at the hospital.

Celine was asleep and Eva continued to gaze at her face but she couldn't shake off the feeling that Celine was someone she had known in the past.

The resemblance between Celine and her mother and the bond between them that seemed to tighten each minute; Eva was thrown into a fit of confusion.

In Celine's sleep, she drifted into a dream. Everywhere was illuminated and bright, just like paradise. Celine strided down a path and she giggled as she admired the beautiful flowers planted at either side of the way.

"Celine!" She heard someone call her name and she turned around.

"Mrs Lane!.." she widened her brows, wondering if she was seeing clearly. Mrs Lane was dead, why was she here again?

"Come here, Cel. It's me, don't be afraid." The woman stretched her palm and Celine took it hesitantly.

"See…? It's me, your extraordinary chef!"
