Chapter 18: 18 Leaving Celine Back At America

Dominic sat patiently at the dining area, waiting for Celine to be done with cooking. He had volunteered to do it but she insisted. He had never tasted her meal before, so he'd get to do that today.

Five minutes later, she came out, holding a tray. She carefully served the meal and waited for Dominic to taste it.

"How's it?" She asked, hoping to get a positive answer. When Mrs Lane was still alive, she ran a restaurant and Celine learnt from her great cooking skills. Well, it was a pity that they had to close the restaurant due to inadequate funds.

Dominic looked up after taking a spoon from the food and he gave her a thumb up.

"It's nice." He nodded and continued eating the meal with a smile. Wow, her plan was really working out.

"This is amazing!" He remarked again.

"Thanks." Celine said before she started eating too.
