The ruins trembled as Daniel's shard pulsed with cold, otherworldly energy. The Abyssal Warden roared again, the glow of its molten red veins casting the dark waters in an eerie light. The weakened structure Daniel had targeted began to collapse, its glowing runes flickering wildly before sputtering out.

Mira hovered a short distance away, her blade poised defensively. The Warden staggered but recovered quickly, its gaze locking onto Daniel with a renewed ferocity.

"You've made it angry," Mira said, darting closer to Daniel as the Warden began its advance.
