Gu Yanyan explained gently and slowly as if she was afraid that Madam Yun wouldn't understand her well intentions and would still worry about for nothing and that Madam Yun shouldn't care about Gu Yanyan because she already had enough and more capable people to care about her.
In the end Gu Yanyan didn't stop there and continued-
"And about the ruddiness of my cheeks, of course I have to look ruddier and prettier for grandmother to like me more. I've heard from the maids around me that grandparents like to see their grandkids looking chubby and cheerful that's why I asked Yang Xumei to tell kitchen to prepare more nutritious and delicious dishes from now on so that I could eat more and look more healthier and prettier so grandmother and Mother don't be concerned about me unnecessary and like me more for being a filial and thoughtful child. And it's not like just after eating one more bowl of rice and a few more servings of meat and vegetable dishes, I can empty all the food in the Residence."
