Chapter 49: Ch 49: Not as innocent as you look - Part 1

Having Daniel so close to her was not a good idea. Her skin felt sweaty in the same room, smelling familiar pheromones that tried to make her submit.

Daniel did not even seem aware of what he was doing as he sighed. 

"We should head back to the party. I feel like there will be many people looking for us."

Anabella tried to hide how nervous she felt at the moment. Her nails scratched her neck awkwardly, and she tried to stop, but it didn't help.

She had sharp and well-kept nails, but they also felt sharp enough to break her skin if she continued to rub and scratch her neck with them.

But she felt too nervous to stop. She needed a distraction at the moment, and she doubted she was going to get a better one at the moment.

"Hey, you-! Stop it, or you will hurt yourself-!"

Daniel reached out to touch Anabella's wrist to make her stop. But the reaction he got from her was different from what he expected.
