Chapter 62: Chapter 62: Uncle and Nephew Meet…

That afternoon, General Ross personally delivered the serum, though he barely held out hope for it after so many years of failed attempts. Only by locating the Hulk could he truly advance his research. Thor handed the serum off to Maya Hansen and casually mentioned a location.

Meanwhile, Tony Stark, freshly returned from Afghanistan, stepped out of his car with a cast on one hand and a huge burger in the other. Before he could even take a step, a familiar, bald figure rushed forward, engulfing him in a hug.

"Oh, Tony, my dear boy! You had me worried sick! I thought I'd be visiting you in a hospital bed! And…a hamburger? Really?"

With his help, Tony made his way into the press conference venue, taking a seat just below the podium and digging into his burger.

After a pause, he began, "I never had the chance to say goodbye to my father. There are so many things I never got to ask him—what he really thought about this company, what doubts he might've had. Maybe he wasn't exactly the man we saw in the newsreels…"

He paused, his voice heavy. "In Afghanistan, I saw young men getting killed…by weapons we designed to protect them. And I—I've become part of that irresponsible system. The missile that nearly killed me had the Stark Industries logo right on it."

Tony took a deep breath. "I believe there's more I can offer this world. So, I'm announcing that Stark Industries will cease all weapons sales!"

The room erupted in chaos as reporters began shouting questions, their disbelief echoing through the hall. Obadiah, seated nearby, looked like he was on the verge of a meltdown, his face contorted in fury.

Suddenly, a calm but powerful voice cut through the noise: "There has never been an era of true peace, only peaceful countries."

Heads turned as Thor walked into the room alone, all eyes drawn to him, including Tony's.

Thor continued, "Sometimes, peace must be fought for. Your father's goal wasn't to start wars, but to secure peace. Weapons themselves aren't good or evil—they're merely tools. It's the hands that wield them that determine their nature."

Tony frowned slightly, ready to argue, but Thor's tone softened as he continued.

"Contributing to the world… Howard found his way of doing that, one that matched his philosophy and suited his era. But that doesn't mean it's the right path for you."

He looked directly at Tony. "In my opinion, a true genius isn't bound to one field. Howard's son shouldn't spend his life following someone else's path. Even if you stop making weapons, I believe you'll find your own way."

The crowd fell silent, absorbing Thor's words. When everyone else doubted Tony's decision, Thor had come forward in support.

"Well said!" Tony broke into applause, then tilted his head, curiosity sparking in his eyes. "You seem to know a lot about my father, but we've never met. Mind telling me who you are, sir?"

Thor grinned. This was the moment he'd been waiting for.

Raising his voice, he announced, "I am Thor Odinson. Many of you may not know me, but over sixty years ago, I went by another name—the vice-captain of the Howling Commandos, Donald Blake!"

The room fell into stunned silence before the shutters of cameras started clicking furiously, reporters scrambling to capture every moment. Onstage, Tony's jaw dropped, his burger forgotten.

Phil Coulson, who'd been sent to gather information on Tony's recent escapade, was equally speechless. He'd always known that Thor was no ordinary visitor, but he never suspected this. So he knew Captain America, too? Coulson's mind raced. Maybe he could get the Captain's autograph…

Tony finally managed to find his voice. "You mean you're…that 'Blake' my father talked about…"

Thor gave him a nod. "Yes, I had quite the friendship with your father back then. He even said he'd want his kids to call me 'Uncle.' So…" Thor raised his eyebrows meaningfully. "You get it, don't you?"

Tony blinked, dumbstruck, processing the revelation. "…Uncle?"

Thor nodded, grinning.
