"If you don't want your head blown off, don't move."

A familiar female voice came from behind, and Lin Feng slowly raised his hands to show he wasn't a threat.

"Pow-pow…is that you?"

Hearing this, Jinx pressed her gun harder against the back of Lin Feng's head.

"Who are you? How do you know that name?"

Lin Feng responded carefully, one word at a time.

"I'm Lin Feng, Vander's adopted son."

"You're lying!" Jinx shoved the gun further into his skull, forcing Lin Feng to lower his head.

"Vander's dead…I've never seen you before!"

"Of course you haven't. I was somewhere else all this time."

Lin Feng spoke with conviction; he had already prepared this story well in advance.

"Vander talked about you…and Vi, often. He loved you both."

"Don't mention that woman!"

Jinx was a mere breath away from pulling the trigger.

"Alright, alright," Lin Feng continued, knowing that playing the family card wouldn't help here.

"But you two are sisters, aren't you?"

More words, more anger. Rage bubbled up inside Jinx. But before she could react, Lin Feng suddenly turned, disarming Jinx and throwing her pow-pow gun aside, grabbing her hands.

Jinx tried to break free, but it was useless. In his newly strengthened state, Lin Feng's grip was more than a match for her strength, which surprised him. For someone as slender as Jinx, she had impressive power—it still took six or seven-tenths of his strength to hold her down.

As Jinx struggled, Lin Feng shouted, "Vi is dying! Does that really mean nothing to you? Is this the Jinx Vander loved so much?"

Jinx froze for a moment, locking eyes with Lin Feng.

If it had been any other girl, she might have been intimidated by Lin Feng's fierce actions, but Jinx wasn't just any girl.

She gritted her teeth, huffing.

"Where were you when Vander died? You have no right to say such things."

With that, Jinx leaned in, biting down hard on Lin Feng's arm, drawing blood.

But Lin Feng didn't flinch, keeping his hold on her, pulling her into an embrace instead.

"If you need to bite, then bite. I'm your brother. That's the truth."

Ignoring his words, Jinx bit his neck, ferociously enough to kill if she could.

However, her strength only barely managed to break the surface of his skin—part of why Lin Feng dared to act so openly.

This was the only chance he had to say anything meaningful without her shooting him.

"I wasn't in Piltover for a long time. I'm sorry…everything that happened with you and Vi was just a misunderstanding. I'll explain it to you."

Lin Feng's words were a blend of truth and lies, but he knew that the rift between Jinx and Vi was full of unresolved misunderstandings.

Jinx didn't react.

"As your brother, I brought you a gift. But you need to promise me: after I let go, you'll behave, alright?"

Finally, Jinx reacted.

She released her bite, blood trailing from the corner of her mouth, though her expression was eerily calm—almost unnervingly so.

"Alright, brother."

Lin Feng nodded and loosened his grip, turning his head.

But when he looked back, Jinx had pulled out another gun, pressing it to his forehead.

Lin Feng had expected this.

Of course, Jinx wasn't going to listen to him obediently.

But he didn't let this stop him.

Lin Feng opened his hand to reveal a small doll—a Jinx doll he had just crafted. It looked exactly like a chibi version of Jinx, much like her character in *Teamfight Tactics*.

With the heart of an inventor, Lin Feng had created the figure with an unparalleled level of detail.

Jinx recognized the doll immediately, stunned for a moment.

She stared at it, her expression shifting.

Lin Feng could read the complex emotions in her eyes.

For Jinx, family and friendship were distant dreams.

She had been like a child who made mistakes, closing herself off, hiding her vulnerability behind chaos and mayhem.

But in her heart, Jinx longed to go back to the past. She wanted her sister, she wanted to see Vander and Silco again.

Lin Feng could feel a strange mix of sympathy and pity for her as he observed her.

"Look, she even moves."

He touched a button on the mini-Jinx doll, activating a series of expressions and sounds—a perfect replica of her in *Teamfight Tactics*.

Jinx watched the doll, mesmerized.

Slowly, she lowered her gun as something buried within her seemed to awaken.

Could he…really be my brother?

And is Vi…really dying?

The thought tightened Jinx's nerves.

She gripped her weapon a little too tightly and accidentally pulled the trigger.

*Bang!*

The shot pierced Lin Feng's thigh, leaving a bleeding wound.

"Ahh!" Lin Feng winced in pain, gritting his teeth.

Even with his enhanced body, he couldn't take a bullet so easily.

After all, even Captain America doesn't just shrug off bullets without a shield to block them.

Fortunately, Lin Feng had activated his rune power to protect himself from direct gunfire, but he hadn't expected an accidental misfire to hit his leg.

This time, Jinx panicked.

She dropped her pow-pow gun to the ground and crouched down, staring at the wound on Lin Feng's leg with a mixture of horror and confusion.

"I…I…"

Lin Feng forced a smile through the pain, holding out the mini-Jinx doll again.

"Do you like it?"

Jinx could no longer contain herself; a single tear slipped down her cheek.

But then, a purple gleam flashed in her eyes.

A flood of hallucinations and fragments of memory danced around her, blurring the line between fantasy and reality.

Jinx clutched her head, her mind fractured with agony, reaching instinctively toward her pow-pow gun.

Lin Feng gritted his teeth, suddenly remembering something.

Quickly, he grabbed the remaining half-bottle of super shimmer and, holding Jinx's jaw, poured it into her mouth.
