Chapter 51: Eye doctor

Looking closer, David closed his eyes and opened them again in surprise. Looking at his red eye, David was speechless.

"How is this even possible? We bumped into each other, our heads hit, so how is my eye red?" David asked himself.

Thinking back, David slapped his forehead in frustration before picking up his phone to go visit a doctor.

"Where are you going?" a voice resounded, and David's heart immediately dropped.

It was the last person he wanted to find out about his eye. Turning back, he saw the little thing, standing at a height no more than five feet on the dot.

"Okay, let me have it," David said as he turned around to face his niece, Naomi.

"What happened to your eye? Did you and Austin fight or what?" she said as she began rubbing her left eye.

Staring at her obvious attempt at nonchalance, despite the clear laugh she was suppressing, David sighed.
