Chapter 140: C130(1)

"Foot clan has mastered an extraterrestrial technology basically teleportation technology, which allows fixed-point transmission. This technology relies on teleportation devices, but the device is divided into three parts. One is in the hands of the foot clan, while the other two are scattered across the Earth. Although a single component can achieve transmission, its stability is extremely poor, and the success rate is negligible."

Phil spoke in a low voice: "After the foot clan leader Shredder was arrested, the gang devised a plan to assemble the complete teleportation device. This was both to ensure Shredder's rescue and to guard against Batman's interference."

"Teleportation device?" Natasha frowned slightly.

She had never heard of such technology. Of course, it was unsurprising. Advanced technologies, especially those with strategic importance, rarely made their way into general knowledge.

"Alien technology."

What caught Natasha's attention most was Phil's mention of alien technology.

Alien technology...

Her mind flashed back to Anton's film. In Cyborg, the character Victor Stone was transformed into Cyborg using alien technology.

Could it be... She remained composed, though uncertainty churned within her.

Phil continued, "Following Batman's instructions, I infiltrated the clan, posing as a subordinate of the Green Goblin. When I followed them into the tropical rainforest in search of the final component of the teleportation device, we ran into General Ross and his army, who were there to capture Dr. Banner."

"Ross seized the teleportation device from us and accidentally activated it, which drew the attention—and attack—of aliens!"

Phil swallowed hard, his expression filled with fear.

"The alien called himself Krang and launched an assault through the space channel, nearly razing the entire flight base. If I hadn't managed to control my goblin suit and shut off the teleportation device in time, the energy transmission would have continued, and you wouldn't need me to explain. You'd have seen the aliens yourself!"

Natasha was silent, deep in thought, as Phil's words played through her mind.

She asked, "The base has been reduced to rubble. Where is the teleportation device now? Why didn't we recover it from the ruins?"

"It was taken by the remnants of the foot clan ," Phil replied, gritting his teeth.

"In the chaos, I was forced to reveal my identity to stop them. They stole the teleportation device and fled. I rushed back to New York because I feared they might move faster than us and rescue Shredder from prison."

"Understood."

Natasha nodded. While some details remained unclear, Phil's account aligned closely enough with their existing intelligence to be credible.

She promptly reported everything to Nick Fury.

Nick Fury's Reaction

Nick Fury's expression remained impassive.

"Too late," he said slowly.

"What do you mean?" Natasha asked, puzzled.

"When I learned that this was connected to the foot clan , I contacted the prison authorities," Fury explained in a low tone. "They informed me that Shredder disappeared a few hours ago—vanished without a trace, almost as if through teleportation."

Natasha's eyes widened in shock.

Shredder's disappearance meant the foot clan had already acted.

"That means New York is in danger," Natasha said grimly.

"A gang in possession of alien technology... who knows what they'll do next?"

Fury nodded, his expression dark.

"Prepare for the worst."

"It's already a big deal. Order everyone to search for the remnants of foot clan in New York. We must find Shredder !"

Fury had been shaken awake, and his tone was solemn.

This matter involved aliens, and he knew he had to act. Perhaps even Batman had thrown the problem to S.H.I.E.L.D. because he understood how serious it was.

He was lost in thought. Little did he know, all of this was part of Anton's plan. And in the end, Fury had been used by Anton to take the fall... what bad luck.

Meanwhile in New York...

In the sewers beneath New York, home to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' dojo, Anton had successfully offloaded the problem onto S.H.I.E.L.D. and brought Bruce Banner there.

Banner was surprised.

He hadn't expected that New York's bustling underground hid such a hidden treasure, a sanctuary full of life in the midst of the city's dirty sewers. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!"

Banner kept up with various news in the United States, and The Daily bugle was always a major source of information.

Daily Bugle had covered nearly every superhero in New York—Batman, Venom, Daredevil, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spider-Man, Iron Man—all had been subjects of its stories.

Banner knew about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and even some of the villains that had appeared, like the Green Goblin, the Lizard, and even Doctor Octopus.

"Dr. Banner, although you're a physicist, I know you also have a deep interest in cell biology. This will be your domain," Anton said as he introduced him to a one-armed man who approached them.

"This is Kurt Connors, a professor of biology. You two will have plenty in common."

"Connors?"

After a moment's confusion, Banner quickly recalled the man's other identity.

"You're the Lizard!"

"Yes, I am," Connors admitted, a little embarrassed.

He had to face the truth about his past, a truth he didn't want to revisit.

"I've corrected my mistakes," Connors said seriously. "I'm trying to make up for the wrongs I've done."

"I understand," Banner said with a bittersweet smile.

After becoming the Hulk, Banner had done many things he regretted, and that feeling of helplessness was hard to shake.

"Alright, enough with the greetings. Let's get to the point," Anton said, nodding to Connors.

"Dr. Banner, our current research focus is on human body enhancement agents with minimal side effects—agents that can be safely used in practice without noticeable harm," Connors explained.

"We've had some success with the mutagen in the blood of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but the biggest issue we face is still determining how the mutagen affects the mind of the subject. Perhaps you don't know this, but the Green Goblin was a lesson for us..."

Connors went on to explain the current situation and the role of the mutagen. Banner's eyes widened with interest.
