Dean's heart thundered in his chest as he reached out into the void, fingers clawing for salvation as he plummeted down the skies at a breathtaking pace!

But just at the last minute, although clearly taken aback, the crimson haired girl was insanely fast.

She grabbed on to the blind girl's golden rope, swinging it downwards with every ounce of strength contained within her.

Dean who had his mouth wide open, eyes widening in shock suddenly saw a golden glow flashing across the endless darkness, a brief thunder bolt suddenly streaked through the sky, illuminating the jagged cliffs above and the seething dark sea below.

Albeit for a brief second.

It was more than enough!

Dean swung his arm into the air, and for one agonizing second, he thought he'd miss it.

His stomach sank in fear, despair pooling around his chest like frozen ice.

He didn't want to die.
