Chapter 40: Ch39: Meeting With Other Humans.

Dean adjusted his grip on the Antraizel spear, his body braced as the crimson-armored beast hurtled toward him. Its inhuman momentum smashing into him, launching him backward in a violent arc. He stuck the ground hard, skidding and rolling, each impact jarring his senses.

Blood smeared the corner of his lips as he staggered to his feet, breath heavy and ragged as he stared at the monstrosity.

He knew time wasn't on his side, and he had to end this battle as fast as he could.

Yet with the inhumane strength of this ant-like creature, he really doubted he stood a chance against it.

The creature was relentless, its limbs a blur as it charged again. Dean immediately moved, shards of stones hurtling into the space behind him.
