Chapter 19: Empire's Structure

In the royal guest suite of Princess Seraphina Von Zafyre in the Palace of the Imperial family of the Empire of Zafyre, which rested in the Grand City of Valthora, Lucifer stood in the dim light of the room, his body glowing as always, like jade. His pure white skin shone with an ethereal glow, and his lean, muscular frame was noticeable even in the loose robe that he wore after the bath. The faint steam from his bath lingered in the air, making his silver hair appear like a flowing river of light, cascading down his back. His horns, dark and polished like obsidian, shined faintly as they emerged from his head, with a heavy presence.

Sitting on the side, barely five feet away, was Seraphina, her eyes fixed anywhere but on Lucifer, betraying the flickers of emotion she so desperately tried to suppress. She could feel a pull from his presence that attracted her, making heat rise in her chest every time she so-called accidentally glanced at him.
