Bonus chapters are like surprise blossoms—unexpected, yet full of joy! 🌱

---

Pulling Theresa off of himself, Luo Qing dressed, tidied up the battlefield of the previous night, and carried the freshly completed canned knowledge to the living room.

With a slight mental nudge, the contents of the canned knowledge were transferred through the Void Terminal, etching themselves into his mind once more.

Because Nahida was around, this time, the extraction contained only one thing: the anime Clannad.

Unlike the memories previously tucked away in his subconscious, this time he could vividly recall every frame of the anime.

Even the language had been automatically translated by his brain into Teyvat's dialect.

It was clear enough that even an ordinary person could understand it.

"Master... what are you up to?"

Theresa emerged from the room.

Perhaps due to the milestone they crossed last night, she seemed much bolder in front of Luo Qing now.

At the moment, she was wearing nothing but a white shirt on top and deep purple triangle panties on the bottom, an undeniably enticing sight.

"Where did you get that white shirt?" Luo Qing was momentarily stunned.

Ever since this girl started hanging out with Makoto, she had an uncanny knack for hitting his exact weak spots!

"I made it myself," Theresa replied with a playful hum. She walked up to Luo Qing, twisted her body slightly for effect, and then plopped herself onto his lap with a bold stride.

The snowy white skin of her chest peeked teasingly from under the shirt.

"Does Master like it?" she asked with a sly grin.

"..."

It would be a lie to say he didn't like it.

But if he admitted it... this girl would only get more brazen.

"Just so-so," he muttered.

(Pulls down her panties.)

---

With the first... sound of morning cannon fire—no, the first ray of sunlight—Luo Qing left Theresa to rest in the room after an exhausting night. He went out alone to find Dori again.

It was still the same dim alley, the same petite, adorable purple-haired loli accompanied by a burly man, and the same money-for-service attitude on her face.

Luo Qing couldn't understand why she liked conducting business in such shady places.

What if someone wanted to buy something strange?

Walking into the alley, Luo Qing found that Dori wasn't as panicked as the first time she saw him. After all, they had done business the night before.

After exchanging a few words with the burly man, Dori sent him away from the alley.

"Back again so soon, customer? Is there a problem with the device?"

"I'll remind you, no refunds after the deal is done," she said with a cheeky grin.

"That's not it," Luo Qing shook his head, pulling out the canned knowledge from his pocket. "I heard you're the queen of canned knowledge?"

"But of course! When it comes to canned knowledge in Sumeru, there's no information I don't know. What's this? Do you want me to help you sell it?"

Combining this with the knowledge that Luo Qing had bought an extraction device the night before, Dori thought she had figured out his plan.

"Something like that," Luo Qing mused. "I want to mass-produce this and make it available to everyone in Sumeru. Any chance of that happening?"

"Mass-produce?" Dori glanced at the canned knowledge in Luo Qing's hand.

Canned knowledge was already illegal in Sumeru, and small-scale, under-the-table sales were one thing.

But this guy wanted to mass-produce it and let everyone use it?

Wasn't he a disciplinary officer? Had he lost his mind?

"Customer..." Dori said with a meaningful smile. "You know the Akademiya's regulations. Selling it on the sly is one thing, but mass production is another beast entirely."

"That can be arranged." Luo Qing nodded, pulling out a gold-embossed check from the Northland Bank.

"Write down as many zeroes as you like."

"..." Dori was momentarily speechless. Was Luo Qing the illegitimate son of the Northland Bank's owner? Or was the bank his family business?

"It's not about the money..." Dori said, shaking her head with difficulty. "Mass-producing and distributing something this risky... if the Grand Disciplinary Officer catches me, I wouldn't survive."

While the blank check was tempting, she was equally aware of the Grand Disciplinary Officer's ruthlessness.

She was just a cute little loli trying to earn some mora; she hadn't even properly enjoyed life yet.

If she got caught...

Yikes. She couldn't afford to think about it.

"Didn't you say you could sell anything?" Luo Qing pressed.

"I did, yes." Dori folded her arms confidently. "But I'm not stupid. I don't do business where I end up at a loss."

"..." Luo Qing was left speechless.

Who knew there were things that even mora couldn't solve when it came to Dori?

Dori leaned forward, curious. "Customer, are you trying to make the knowledge in this can accessible to everyone in Sumeru?"

"That's about right," Luo Qing nodded.

Earning mora wasn't the goal; he just wanted Sumeru's citizens to experience this heartwarming and healing story.

"Well, that should be easy for you," Dori said, pointing to Luo Qing's disciplinary officer uniform.

"Since you're a disciplinary officer, just use your position to quietly upload the content into the Void network. Once it's in there, everyone will be able to download it."

"Wait... the Void network is accessible to everyone?" Luo Qing asked, startled.

"Of course! Anyone wearing a Void Terminal can access knowledge and resources stored in the Void. The only difference is the level of permissions.

"Just upload it and spread some rumors about it in the streets. Curiosity will lead people to download it. Problem solved."

"Oh, this..." Luo Qing suddenly realized.

Wasn't this the same as using internet trolls to boost popularity?

"All you need to do is upload it. Leave the rumor-spreading to me~ I'm particularly skilled in that area."

"..." Luo Qing sighed. Confirmed: Dori was also a troll ring leader.

"Well, it's doable..." Luo Qing nodded, already scheming how to upload the knowledge into the Void.

Should he kidnap Azar and threaten him a bit? If the guy didn't cooperate, make him dance naked in the square?

Hmm... seemed plausible.

"All right, I'll get in touch with you later." Luo Qing tucked the gold-embossed check back into his pocket and was about to leave when Dori suddenly called out.

"Hey, what's inside that can? Can I take a peek?"

"It's not suitable for minors. Maybe when you're an adult," Luo Qing replied without looking back.

---

Meanwhile, on the other side of Port Ormos...

The Grand Scribe Alhaitham sat alone at an outdoor café, occasionally glancing at Luo Qing below to avoid being noticed.

Through the Void Terminal's interface, Luo Qing's personal information was displayed in Alhaitham's field of vision.

"Disciplinary Officer Consultant..."

Alhaitham had worked at the Akademiya for a while, but this was the first time he'd heard of such a title.

What intrigued him even more was that Luo Qing was a direct appointment by Azar himself.

Aside from this vague title, there was no other information about him.

Either Luo Qing wasn't part of the Akademiya, or Azar had hidden his records.

"Looks like I'll need to make contact..."

Chapter 217: This Trainee Fatui Harbinger is Too Unreliable [217]

Outside the outskirts of Sumeru City...

After finalizing plans with Dori for boosting popularity using internet-like methods, Luo Qing returned to Sumeru City with Theresa.

Her desires had grown insatiable since their first encounter, and she even suggested having a thrilling match in the wilderness along the way.

Unfortunately for her, Luo Qing firmly rejected the idea.

Near the city's outskirts, Luo Qing thought to stop by the workshop to check on the Doctor's progress. He sent Theresa back on her own while he detoured to the Pureglass Workshop.

From the Doctor's updates, he learned that the assembly of the Shouki no Kami was nearly complete. The final step would involve utilizing the full computational power of the Void at the right moment to merge the Balladeer with the Shouki no Kami.

Based on the timeline, it would align with the The Sabzeruz Festival, about a month from now.

---

As Luo Qing exited the workshop, he couldn't help but feel puzzled.

The Sabzeruz Festival was approaching quickly.

But where were Lumine and Paimon?

Don't they want to save the adorable Nahida?

He began to speculate whether those two had gone off to the Golden Apple Archipelago for some fun.

While mulling over this, Luo Qing spotted a commotion down a nearby trail. A group of Hilichurls seemed to be fighting someone.

Peering closer, he recognized the person surrounded at the center of the group.

Her grayish-blue, long, twin-tailed curls, her tight white pants, and her exposed snowy shoulders—it was Layla, someone he hadn't seen in a while.

She gripped a longsword with both hands, swinging it with visible strain. Ice-blue elemental energy flickered faintly around her.

The Hilichurl group encircling her wasn't just your average lot. Among them were towering Mitachurls and even an elemental-wielding Shaman.

As a student, Layla was no match for them. Her once-pristine white pants and finely tailored outfit now bore several tears, likely from the Hilichurl weapons.

What's she doing here? Luo Qing wondered as he started walking toward her.

---

Layla, meanwhile, clutched her sword tightly, her breathing labored as she faced the attacking Hilichurls. Her brows furrowed, sweat dripping from her temples.

There were no patrol guards this far out of Sumeru City—only mercenaries looking for an opportunity to rob and pillage.

She couldn't understand why her conscious personality had chosen to sleep in such a dangerous place, her scent inadvertently attracting these monsters.

Before she could catch her breath, a towering Mitachurl holding a massive axe charged straight at her.

The axe, larger than Layla herself, rose high before swinging down toward her head.

Frantically, she conjured an ice shield, hoping to block the blow.

However, her frail body and limited elemental strength weren't enough.

The pale ice shield managed to absorb the first strike but shattered under the follow-up blow, sending her flying backward.

"Ugh… that hurts…" Layla groaned as she hit the ground.

Looking up at the advancing Mitachurl, she felt completely at a loss.

Though her swordsmanship far surpassed her other persona's, she was still just a student focused on academic research. Facing monsters of this caliber was far beyond her capabilities.

Why did I have to sleep here of all places? she muttered inwardly.

The Mitachurl, oblivious to her complaints, raised its axe again, preparing to bring it down on her.

"Ahhh!" Layla cried out, instinctively shutting her eyes.

But the expected impact never came. Instead, she felt something wet and strange splatter across her face.

Opening her eyes, she saw a pale yellow rock spine piercing the Mitachurl, pinning it to the ground.

The mysterious liquid on her face? It had come from the Mitachurl's body.

"How is this possible…" Layla murmured, still trembling as she stared at the rock spine.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a familiar male voice from behind her.

"What are you doing, picking fights with Hilichurls out here?"

"Wha—?!" Layla spun around to see Luo Qing approaching casually.

Even though they were surrounded by Hilichurls, his expression remained relaxed, entirely unbothered.

"What are you doing here?"

For Layla's inner persona, memories of this scoundrel were particularly vivid.

"Don't overthink it. Just passing through on my way home," Luo Qing replied nonchalantly.

The nearby Hilichurls, seemingly provoked, charged at him with weapons raised.

"Watch out!" Layla shouted.

However, in the next moment, Luo Qing snapped his fingers lightly.

Dozens of golden-yellow rock spines rained from the sky, skewering the Hilichurls and pinning them to the ground.

Each one got its own spine—no exceptions.

"This…" Layla was left speechless.

She hadn't expected Luo Qing to be this strong.

He didn't show this kind of strength in bed...

"Tch. You're covered in injuries," Luo Qing remarked as he walked over to Layla, inspecting her condition.

Though she had multiple scratches and abrasions on her arms and legs, they were mostly superficial.

A single one of my big, hard vitality pills should fix this, Luo Qing thought.

However, the unidentified liquid splattered on her face was a bit unsightly.

"Can you stand?" he asked.

"Yes…" Layla mumbled, lowering her head to avoid meeting his gaze.

She felt too embarrassed to let Luo Qing see her in such a disheveled state.

"What are you hiding for? It's not like I haven't seen you like this before," Luo Qing teased.

With a thought, he pulled out a Vitality Pill from his pocket and handed it to her.

"Here, eat this. It'll help you heal faster."

"Huh…?" Layla looked at the fist-sized, black, and oddly solid pill, then back at Luo Qing.

"Are you messing with me?"

"Oh, come on. Can you just eat it?"

"..."

[+1 Frustration from Layla.]

Layla turned away, pouting slightly. "Thank you for saving me. I won't forget this favor."

Even if he was full of crude jokes and inappropriate comments, he was still her savior. Gratitude was necessary.

"Eh." Luo Qing waved it off nonchalantly and pushed the pill closer to her lips.

"We're friends, aren't we? Just eat the thing. Otherwise, if it scars, you'll regret it."

"What is this thing?"

"It's good stuff. Don't ask, just eat. Yeah, just like that. Good. It's almost in... there you go."

Under Luo Qing's insistent persuasion, Layla reluctantly swallowed the Vitality Pill whole.

The taste lingered unpleasantly in her mouth.

Why does it taste like dandelion sap?

"What did you just make me eat—"

Before she could finish, a rush of warmth coursed through her body. Starting from her abdomen, the heat spread rapidly to every part of her.

Her wounds, previously oozing blood, began healing before her very eyes. In mere seconds, her damaged skin had returned to smooth, unblemished perfection.

"What is this thing…" she asked, her voice tinged with awe.
