Victoria leaned closer, her lips hovering near his ear. "Insane in the best way, though. Admit it."

Damian opened his mouth to retort, but whatever he was going to say was lost when Evelyn suddenly closed the gap, her lips pressing against his in a kiss that left no room for argument. Her tongue teased his, her hands steadying him as she leaned in further.

Damian's eyes widened for a moment before instinct took over, his hands moving to her waist as he returned the kiss, his mind racing but his body surrendering to the moment.
