"Couldn't resist, could you, Logan?"

Logan barely glanced up from his desk, feigning disinterest as Dante entered the room. "I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about," he replied smoothly, though the faintest smirk gave him away.

Dante's gaze narrowed. He'd anticipated Logan would take things too far, but framing Aria with a fake email—this was a new low. "If you think you're going to break her spirit like this, you're mistaken."

Logan finally looked up, his smile cold. "Break her spirit? Please. She's not nearly as resilient as you make her out to be. Just wait and see."

Dante clenched his fists, forcing himself to keep his composure. "Consider this a warning. Whatever game you're playing, you won't win."

Logan leaned back, looking unconcerned. "We'll see, Dante. She doesn't belong here, and deep down, you know it."
