 NOTE: Congratulations, you are on your journey to becoming the *****]

When I woke up, there wasn't any earth-shattering shift in my reality—at least, not at first glance.

The interface appeared the same, except for a few glaring changes: a new designation called "Progenitor," a celestial blessing, and innate abilities that seemed downright ridiculous.

It took almost a full day in the Temporal Dimensional Matrix (TDM)—a pocket of slowed time—interrogating the system to even begin wrapping my mind around how profoundly different I had become.

With these newfound abilities, I was confident I could take down the Shadow, a looming existential threat, with ease. Yet, strangely, the urgency in my heart refused to diminish.

The system revealed some fascinating truths: for beings below level one existence, the maximum stat threshold was 99.9. No matter how hard you trained or pushed, that cap was absolute. But now? Now, there was a way beyond.

The more powerful the race, the further that stat limit stretched. For humans, the ceiling was 99. But for dragons? T

heir cap could be as high as 110. The difference might seem trivial at first glance, but once a stat crossed the threshold of 100, its potency multiplied tenfold. Each additional point became a monumental leap in power.

And my race? I wasn't just human anymore. I'd evolved into one of the top 100 species in existence, with a limit far beyond humanity's.

Those 20 extra points may not have seemed like much on paper, but in practice, they equated to an enhancement of over 200 stats.

The Progenitor designation was another game-changer. Apparently, I'd become the first-ever Supreme Human—a feat so rare it was deemed nearly impossible due to the extraordinary materials required for evolution.

//Progenitor: As the first Supreme Human, you gain the following benefits://

All abilities of the Supreme Human race are multiplied by 100.

You can create Supreme Humans from other humans.

Debuff any human by 20%.

All humans feel a sense of reverence and worship toward you.

The implications were staggering.

The system was essentially saying I wasn't just the strongest—I was the template, the apex from which all others would be measured.

But as incredible as this was, it wasn't the most jaw-dropping aspect of my transformation.

//Blessing of the Universe: In recognition of the birth of a new race, the Universe bestows its blessing. Benefits include://

Immortality.

Immunity to divine and time-related abilities.

Extreme luck.

Halved requirements for all future evolutions.

Eyes of the Universe unlocked.

Rune of Alcavith unlocked.

??? unlocked.

Immortality was just the tip of the iceberg. The blessing made me untouchable by divine powers and time manipulation—two of the most feared forces in existence.

No matter what happened, I would persist. It was a cheat code for existence itself.

Then there were the Eyes of the Universe. These weren't just some fancy lenses—they were legendary, coveted tools of understanding and manipulation, capable of bending the very fabric of reality.

//Eyes of the Universe://

See and understand all things, including universal laws.

Manipulate anything visible.

Shape reality itself.

???? (locked).

The only limitation was energy. Without sufficient power, the eyes would drain vitality instead—a process that would normally lead to death.

But with Immortality granting me endless vitality, even that restriction was effectively meaningless.

Then came the description of my new race, the Supreme Human.

//Race: Supreme Human//

A species evolved from humanity, enhanced by a millionfold in every aspect.

Abilities: Eternal Adaptation, Eternal Evolution, Super Brain, Total Body Control.

Take humanity's natural traits—our ability to heal, grow stronger through training, adapt to our environment—and magnify them by a million.

That was just the baseline. Now factor in the Progenitor multiplier, which amplified all racial abilities by 100. The final multiplier was 100 million.

//Eternal Adaptation://

Adapt to any condition a million times faster than normal.

This ability was my favorite. It meant that no matter what I faced—whether environmental extremes or physical threats—my body would adapt until I not only survived but thrived.

Like a living embodiment of evolution, I'd grow stronger in real-time.

//Eternal Evolution://

Continuously surpass all limits by evolving into higher forms.

No bottlenecks. No ceilings. The concept of "limits" simply didn't apply anymore.

The Super Brain was equally insane, giving me intellectual capabilities a million times greater than an ordinary human.

I could think faster, process more information, and retain perfect memory.

With these upgrades, I decided it was time to set aside my earlier plans for physical leveling. A new phase of preparation was in order.

The second phase hinged on Rune Knowledge. While I might not need Runes to defeat the Shadow, my instincts told me they were crucial.

Runes were essentially the laws of nature, condensed into symbols. To master Runes was to wield the very fabric of reality.

Even basic Rune Knowledge was prohibitively expensive in terms of Xymic energy because it interfaced directly with universal laws. And mastering even the basics?

It required an immense amount of time. Even with my enhanced brain, it would take an ordinary year of relentless study to make meaningful progress.

But I wasn't ordinary.

The TDM offered a loophole. Eight hours in the Matrix equaled 8,000 hours of subjective time—over 333 days. That was already close to a full year.

Then came the cheat: cloning. By creating 100 clones, each focused on different categories of Runes, I could effectively multiply that time by a factor of 100.

Ten subjective years of study condensed into a single day of real-world time.

Runes, like letters in the alphabet, were meaningless in isolation. But combine them correctly, and their power became limitless.

Even the simplest arrangements could achieve extraordinary effects. Mastery would make me unstoppable.

So, why not?

Shadow was coming, and every instinct told me I'd need this knowledge to face what lay ahead. It was time to begin.
