Chapter 43: The Murder Of Your Child

Carla was indignant. She did not want to die. She was only in her forties; her prime. Dying would not be worth it. But she knew there was no hope and at this moment, she regretted provoking the young woman. No wonder Eleanor had given up.

She had realized her mistakes too late. She was going to die inevitably. Suddenly, she thought of her two illegitimate children she had cast aside. She regretted not catering for them. But there was no place for regrets. She swore if there was a saving grace at the moment, she would most definitely turn over a new leaf.

Her gaze dimmed, the only thing in her eyes being the cold faced young woman. Just as she felt her breath leave her, a voice came from behind.

The young woman let go of her and immediately, Carla clutched her neck. She coughed repeatedly as she gasped for air.
