Chapter 561: Chapter 561: The Po Clan Negotiations

Seeing Su Ming surrounded, Yang Wudi frowned and said, "Su Ming? Aren't you the captain from the Heaven Dou Royal Academy? How did you end up with the Spirit Hall?"

Su Ming replied calmly, "Senior Yang Wudi, I joined the Spirit Hall because, as a commoner, it offers me more opportunities for growth than the Heaven Dou Empire. I've come today to invite the Po Clan to join us."

Yang Wudi snorted, "I heard about the old Titan's death. I was just thinking of uniting the Four Single-Attribute Clans after the Soul Master Tournament, but it seems Spirit Hall got here first."

Su Ming responded, "I understand you may have misgivings about the Spirit Hall, Senior Yang, but you should know that our action to send five Titled Douluos was solely to deal with Tang Hao and Tang San. While Titan's death is indirectly tied to us, I'm sure you know the true cause was Tang Hao and Tang San, isn't that so?"

Su Ming continued, "And Senior, consider how when the Clear Sky Sect closed its doors, it abandoned the Four Single-Attribute Clans. Did the Titan act differently? The moment he found out about Tang Hao and Tang San, he rushed to their side without considering the hardship his clan had endured all these years."

Yang Wudi, seeing Su Ming's composure and hearing his reasoning, felt somewhat impressed; he knew Su Ming was speaking the truth.

Over the years, the Four Single-Attribute Clans had indeed faced harsh conditions. The Po Clan, known for its strength in medicine, was better off than most. Yang Wudi had been planning to unite the clans, believing that they could better maximize their strengths together.

However, Yang Wudi's feelings toward the Spirit Hall remained bitter, and he replied coldly, "Su Ming, there may be some truth to your words. But the reason things became so dire was because of the Spirit Hall's actions."

Su Ming nodded, "I understand your mistrust of Spirit Hall, but the reality was that both sides had differing perspectives; no one was solely right or wrong."

"In one month, I will officially assume the position of Holy Son in Spirit Hall, and I hope to establish my own faction. The Four Single-Attribute Clans are my top choice."

Seeing the exchange, Er Ming grew impatient. With his naturally blunt personality, he snapped, "Old man, why so much back-and-forth? Do you think Su Ming really needs a clan without a single Titled Douluo?"

Er Ming took a step forward, unleashing the formidable aura of a Level 96 Titled Douluo. As the Emperor of the Star Dou Great Forest, he feared no one except Da Ming and Xiao Wu.

This sudden display of pressure, one only Yang Wudi could barely withstand, caused the other Po Clan members to turn pale, some even falling to their knees.

"Er Ming, stand down!" Su Ming commanded loudly.

Da Ming added, "Su Ming, Er Ming was hasty, but we needed to show some strength. Otherwise, they might think you are desperate for allies, dependent on their willingness."

Su Ming sighed but understood. He turned to Yang Wudi, who was now looking at Er Ming and Da Ming with a mix of shock and caution.

"May I ask your names?" Yang Wudi said, wiping cold sweat from his forehead.

Da Ming introduced himself, "I am Niu Tian, Martial Soul: Azure Bull Python, Level 97 Control-Type Titled Douluo."

Er Ming followed, "I am Titan, Martial Soul: Titan Giant Ape, Level 96 Attack-Type Titled Douluo."

Yang Wudi was stunned. Su Ming had two Super Douluos at his side with such unique martial souls! And one was even named Titan? What an uncanny coincidence.

Yang Wudi asked, "Su Ming, how did you manage this? I've never heard of these figures."

Su Ming responded calmly, "They are old friends who once lived in seclusion. When they heard I would become the Holy Son, they decided to emerge and lend me their support."

Yang Wudi's skepticism was evident. A young man like Su Ming, connected with such beings? He knew Su Ming was hiding something, but he decided not to pry further, recognizing the significant power standing beside him.

Adjusting his tone, Yang Wudi asked seriously, "Su Ming, what if I refuse to have the Po Clan join Spirit Hall? Will you have your people destroy us?"

Su Ming smiled. "Senior Yang Wudi, you're experienced enough to know that even if I promise not to, the Po Clan would struggle to survive in these turbulent times without backing. Do you believe your clan can truly endure to the end alone in such a world?"

Yang Wudi was silent, contemplating the grim truth in Su Ming's words.

Chapter 562: Chapter 562: Su Ming's Power, Yang Wudi’s Crisis of Confidence

Su Ming's words pierced Yang Wudi like a sharp blade. "If Senior Yang truly believed in his clan's strength, he wouldn't be planning to reunite the Four Single-Attribute Clans, would he?"

Su Ming continued, "Senior Yang, I won't make empty promises. If you agree to join the Spirit Hall as my ally, I'll grant you one request—within reason, of course."

Yang Wudi didn't doubt Su Ming's sincerity. After all, he was flanked by four Titled Douluos, each radiating overwhelming power. However, he barely registered the two women standing next to Su Ming, assuming they were merely his companions, not powerful figures in their own right.

Seeing Yang Wudi waver, Su Ming added, "I came to the Po Clan first, breaking usual protocol just for you."

After a long sigh, Yang Wudi finally relented, "Fine, I accept. But I have a request on behalf of the other three clans."

Su Ming anticipated his words. "Senior, if I'm not mistaken, your request is for the Spirit Hall to avenge Clan Leader Titan by eliminating Tang Hao and Tang San. Correct?"

Yang Wudi's surprise was evident. "How did you know?"

Su Ming nodded. "You may resent Titan's choice to follow Tang Hao, but you've been his brother for years. Otherwise, you wouldn't still want to avenge him."

Yang Wudi laughed bitterly. "True enough. I may have thought Titan foolish, but he was a brother, and we owe him. So, is my request unreasonable?"

Su Ming said nothing but pulled out two soul bones glowing with energy. "Senior Yang, I believe you recognize these?"

Staring at the bones, Yang Wudi's memory kicked in. "These are... Tang Hao's!"

Su Ming then revealed four more soul bones, though less potent than the first two. Realization dawned on Yang Wudi—Tang Hao was indeed dead, and his soul bones now lay in Su Ming's hands.

"Haha! So Tang Hao's really gone. That's a relief," Yang Wudi laughed. "I assume your Titled Douluos handled him?"

Yang Wudi regarded Tang Hao as one of the strongest fighters on the continent. He couldn't imagine Su Ming defeating him, given Su Ming's youth.

At this, Xiao Wu couldn't resist speaking up, "Senior Yang, you really underestimate my brother! While he didn't kill Tang Hao alone, he played a huge role, and it was Aunt A'Yin here who dealt the final blow. Don't dismiss her—she's also a Titled Douluo!"

Yang Wudi's eyes widened. A'Yin was yet another Titled Douluo? He began to wonder if he had somehow missed monumental events while sequestered in his clan.

A'Yin smiled modestly. "Indeed, I may be the weakest among us. I specialize in healing and support, and once you join us, all will become clear."

Yang Wudi turned back to Su Ming, still full of questions. "Su Ming, now that Tang Hao is gone, I have no qualms about joining the Spirit Hall. But one thing still puzzles me. You're their leader—just how strong are you?"

He judged Su Ming to be no older than his mid-teens, with spirit power at best between levels fifty and sixty.

Su Ming could see Yang Wudi's disbelief and said calmly, "I am a Level 70 support-type Battle Spirit Master with the Wood Element. How about this: let's spar. Then you'll understand my strength."

"Seventy... seventy levels?" Yang Wudi echoed, feeling a bit faint. He knew of Su Ming's reputation as the Heaven Dou team captain, but this... was unbelievable.

After a pause, Yang Wudi responded, "Very well! I'll take you on. I am Yang Wudi, Level 81 Assault Spirit Master, spirit: Po Soul Spear!"

But he hesitated, glancing at Su Ming's allies. "If I do injure you, your friends won't retaliate, will they?"

Xiao Wu laughed. "Senior Yang, you underestimate my brother. If you can even scratch him, that'd be impressive. My teacher and Ghost Elder couldn't gain an edge against him, so what chance do you have?"

Yang Wudi looked to Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo, who exchanged embarrassed glances and looked away. His heart skipped a beat—could he be the one to end up on the ground?
