Chapter 276: Chapter 276: Su Ming's Doubts, Liu Erlong is Acting Strange!

Flender and the others were feeling quite helpless, but there was nothing else they could do.

A few days later, Dugu Bo and Su Ming finally returned to Heaven Dou City.

However, instead of going back to the academy, their first priority was to confirm Tang San's location. This was their most important task at the moment.

The two quietly approached Blue Tyrant Academy, where Su Ming planned to use his enhanced spiritual power to scan the area. His spiritual power had improved significantly, and it should be enough to cover the entire Blue Tyrant Academy, as long as he was careful not to be detected.

Dugu Bo had already gotten used to Su Ming's extraordinary abilities, so he simply accepted it without questioning.

Half an hour passed, and Su Ming frowned, opening his eyes with a puzzled expression. He couldn't find any trace of Tang San and the others.

Even if they were training in a special area that was hard to detect, it didn't make sense that he couldn't sense anyone, not even Yu Xiaogang or the Shrek teachers.

Su Ming said in a low voice, "Old monster, something's off. It seems Tang San and his group aren't here."

Dugu Bo responded quietly, "Could it be that you guessed wrong and Tang San's group never came to this academy? Perhaps they went to a different one."

Su Ming shook his head, feeling unsure. Had Tang San and the others never been to Blue Tyrant Academy?

"No, I need to ask someone," Su Ming muttered.

Fortunately, it was already evening, and the sun was setting, making it easier to sneak in without being noticed.

Su Ming whispered to Dugu Bo, "Old monster, wait here. I'll go in and gather some information. Don't be too surprised by what you see next."

As he spoke, Su Ming's eyes flashed red, and he vanished into thin air. He intended to use his Kamui ability to infiltrate the academy without detection.

Dugu Bo was taken aback by Su Ming's sudden disappearance. Even though he knew Su Ming had many secrets, this ability to disappear without a trace was astonishing. Dugu Bo had never seen anything like it, not even among space manipulation experts like Bone Douluo.

Su Ming infiltrated the academy and noticed many people leaving a particular building, which he guessed was the teaching area.

He figured it was the perfect place to find some teachers who might know something.

Su Ming spotted a middle-aged teacher he recognized from the original story, the one who had tested Flender and his group. It was a stroke of luck.

Silently following the teacher, Su Ming waited until they were in a more secluded area before using a large amount of spiritual energy to pull the man into his Kamui dimension.

Wearing a dark mask that revealed only his glowing red eyes, Su Ming appeared before the teacher.

The man, realizing he had been transported to an unfamiliar place, immediately summoned his martial spirit, looking warily at Su Ming.

"Who are you? What is this place? Why have you brought me here?" the teacher demanded.

Su Ming made his voice raspy, coughing a few times to deepen it. "No need to be so tense. If I wanted you dead, you'd already be gone, don't you think?"

"This is a special dimension. Without my permission, you won't be able to leave. Now, I'm going to ask you some questions. Answer me honestly, and there will be rewards. If I'm not satisfied…"

As Su Ming spoke, he casually pulled a piece of metal from his soul storage device and threw it into the air. The space around the metal distorted, turning it into powder.

The teacher gulped, trembling as he said, "Ask away, senior. I swear I'll tell you everything I know!"

Su Ming nodded in approval. "Good. First, did a group of teachers and students come here recently for an assessment? The leader of the group should have been a Spirit Sage."

The teacher's heart skipped a beat, but he answered cautiously, "Yes, senior. There was such a group. Do you have a grudge against them?"

Su Ming's voice remained cold and raspy. "You only need to answer my questions. Are they still here in the academy?"

The teacher quickly replied, "No, senior. They were kicked out by our headmistress."

Wanting to ensure his survival, the teacher explained everything he knew in detail.

After listening, Su Ming fell into deep thought. Something was definitely off. Why would Liu Erlong suddenly expel Flender and the others?

From what he remembered, Liu Erlong was a complete romantic, and her first reaction to seeing Yu Xiaogang should have been joy, not anger.

The teacher didn't know why Liu Erlong had kicked them out either. He had left after leading them to her.

Judging by the teacher's expressions, Su Ming believed he wasn't lying.

So now Su Ming knew that Liu Erlong, for some reason, had driven Flender's group away, and apparently, there had been a fight when they left.

This puzzled Su Ming. What had happened to Liu Erlong? Why had her feelings toward Yu Xiaogang changed so drastically?

Even though this was a parallel world as the system had mentioned, this seemed like a significant departure from what Su Ming had expected. Liu Erlong's behavior was completely out of character.

But now wasn't the time to delve deeper into this mystery. Once he dealt with Tang San, he would return to investigate Liu Erlong further. There was definitely something strange going on with her.

The system itself seemed uneasy. Liu Erlong's impulsive actions had disrupted its plans, and now it wasn't sure how to proceed.

Realizing he wouldn't get any more useful information, Su Ming casually tossed the teacher a bag of money before dismissing him from the Kamui dimension.

The teacher, relieved to be alive, didn't care about what he had received. He was just grateful to have survived.

A little while later, Su Ming reappeared next to Dugu Bo, removing his mask.

"Old monster, we've got a problem. Tang San and his group were here, but for some reason, Liu Erlong kicked them out," Su Ming explained. "There was a fight too. It seems they've already left Heaven Dou City."

Dugu Bo fell silent for a moment. "So, what now? Have we lost the trail?"

Chapter 277: Chapter 277: Su Ming's Plan

Su Ming said, "Old Monster, let me think. Since they've been forced to leave Heaven Dou City, they wouldn't just join any random academy."

"They chose to come to Blue Tyrant Academy because Liu Erlong is part of the Golden Iron Triangle, so they had a connection there. That way, it would be easier to arrange for their teachers and students."

"Following this line of thinking, Flender might not have any more connections, but Yu Xiaogang does!"

"Old Monster, don't forget, Yu Xiaogang is from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. Even though he hasn't returned to the clan for over ten years, due to what happened recently, he will definitely return now!"

Dugu Bo, understanding Su Ming's hint, said, "Little monster, are you saying Thunderclap Academy?"

Su Ming nodded, "Exactly. It's very likely that under Yu Xiaogang's guidance, along with Yu Tianheng, they've joined Thunderclap Academy. We can go there and see. If they aren't there, we might have to abandon the plan to take the spirit bone for now."

"Old Monster, do you know where Thunderclap Academy is?"

Dugu Bo nodded, "I know. Thunderclap Academy isn't too far from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. I'll take you there."

After a day of nonstop travel, they arrived at Thunderclap Academy by the evening of the next day.

They had been racing against time because every day they delayed, Tang San's fusion with the Eight Spider Lances spirit bone deepened.

Su Ming didn't waste time and immediately used his spiritual power to scan the area. Since Thunderclap Academy was one of the Four Elemental Academies, it was bound to have strong spirit masters.

So, Su Ming was careful not to rush things. He focused on finding Yu Xiaogang, Ma Hongjun, or Dai Mubai. Once he located them, it would confirm that Tang San and the others were there as well, and they could proceed with their plan.

As expected, Su Ming quickly found traces of those three. Expanding his search around them, he discovered that Tang San was indeed in the academy, currently training in a certain area.

Su Ming wasn't sure when they had joined, especially since Thunderclap Academy was known for accepting only spirit masters with lightning-type martial souls. It seemed they had made an exception for Tang San's group, perhaps due to something Yu Xiaogang had said.

"Old Monster, here. Wear this night suit and mask. We're going in," Su Ming said, handing over the disguise.

The two donned the suits and masks. To be even more cautious, Su Ming used a disguise talisman on Dugu Bo, altering his aura.

"Little Monster, what is this?" Dugu Bo asked, noticing the change in his energy.

"Old Monster, you'll understand later. I have many strange things with me. Just remember to change your voice and start your spirit pressure at the Spirit King level. Once Tang San can't take it anymore, his Eight Spider Lances will reveal themselves, and we'll act shocked, like it was unexpected."

"Relax, and don't resist."

Dugu Bo trusted Su Ming, so he didn't resist as Su Ming used Kamui to absorb him into the space. Su Ming himself followed shortly after.

"Little monster, I didn't expect you to have such a powerful space-type spirit ability. You're getting more mysterious by the day!" Dugu Bo chuckled.

Su Ming ignored the comment. "Alright, let's find Tang San and pull him in. Then it's all up to you."

In Thunderclap Academy, Tang San was focused on his training, unaware of the approaching danger. His only thought was to become stronger and defeat Su Ming in the future. Su Ming had become a kind of obsession, a hurdle that Tang San felt he must overcome to find peace.

Suddenly, the space around Tang San warped, and before he could react, he was pulled into Kamui's dimension. A powerful force pressed down on him, causing his Blue Silver Grass to activate defensively.

Dugu Bo, his voice disguised and raspy, spoke, "You must be Tang San?"

Tang San struggled to lift his head. He saw two figures in black night suits and masks standing before him. Su Ming had changed his mask to fully cover his face, remembering that Tang San had previously seen his eyes.

"Who are you? Why did you capture me? Where is this place?" Tang San asked, barely able to breathe under the spirit pressure. His face was turning red and purple from the strain.

Within him, the Clear Sky Hammer martial soul stirred, but Tang San suppressed it with all his might. He couldn't afford to reveal his second martial soul, knowing these two figures had bad intentions.

But by suppressing the Clear Sky Hammer, Tang San lost control of the Eight Spider Lances, which suddenly burst out from his back.

Before Dugu Bo could speak as planned, Su Ming acted surprised. "Whoa! Look at that! I didn't expect Tang Hao's son to have an external spirit bone!"

"This is quite the unexpected bonus! What do you think? If we take his spirit bone, wouldn't Tang Hao be furious?"

Dugu Bo was momentarily confused—the script had changed—but he quickly recovered. "Yes, quite the surprise! We couldn't find Tang Hao, so we thought we'd mess with his son. Now we've found an extra reward!"

Hearing this, Su Ming wanted to applaud Dugu Bo's quick thinking. He had just thought of this idea—to let Tang San know about Tang Hao's involvement and force Tang Hao into action sooner.

After all, there was still a hundred-thousand-year spirit bone hidden in Holy Spirit Village, meant for Tang San. If Tang San waited until after the Spirit Master tournament to absorb it, the talisman's effect would wear off, turning it into a regular hundred-year spirit bone.

And if Tang Hao grew suspicious, he might move the spirit bone, making it impossible for Su Ming to act.

However, knowing Tang Hao's temperament, if he discovered the bone after Tang San absorbed it, he might take drastic action against the villagers. Su Ming had to make sure to move the spirit bone before then.
