My eyes darted between both men, heart pounding with a great amount of dread and panic.
Kieran's face was impassive, blank and devoid of emotions. Orion, on the other hand, was visibly enraged.
I didn't know what to do, or say as both men stared each other down.
"How did it feel when you found out about your son through social media?" Orion said derisively. He was trying to taunt Kieran, to make him lose his temper.
Kieran crossed his arms.
"How I feel is none of your business," he responded coolly. Orion smirked, a cruel thing that twisted his face unpleasantly.
"Oh? I can take a guess how it felt though. You felt thoroughly betrayed, hurt. Deceived. That's what you're here, is it not? To ask her why she kept such a big secret away from you, yeah?"
Orion's voice was heavily laced with disdain, and Kieran's jaw ticked with annoyance at his condescending tone.
