Chapter 11: Pillars

The dining hall was empty this morning, many students decided to sleep in after yesterdays exams. I sat at one of the circular tables, in front of me Rosphalin, to my left the Orc that had been summoned to my room, and to my right a sleepy Vaeril.

"So just to get this straight, when you woke up when you messed with your journal this guy right here popped out of it?" Rosphalin asked.

"Yes" I nodded.

"My Name Not Guy, hmm, It's Orf." The orc said while eating a turkey leg.

"Sorry, Orf. Well whatever, I don't understand half of the magic stuff anyway. I barely understand my own berserker magic anyway." Rophalin sipped her drink.

Vaeril rubbed his eyes then looked at Orf asking, "Hey have we met before."

Orf scratched his head, "I Only Know Small Elf Because He Come To Lunch Yesterday."

"Delsanra you did what?" Rophalin questioned smirking at me across the table.

"Uh... Uh... well you see I fell into their camp after we got attacked by Goblins and Vaeril fought them but they brought me inside their tents..."

"Then Small Elf Suck Orf Dick."

"Ugh..." I blushed a bright red and buried my head in my hands. "Kind of, it was a heat of the moment thing and that's when the bright light happened with the journal when Vaeril showed up."

Rophalin laughed, "Sounds like in Heat alright."

"Oh so your the orc I kicked or something, my bad I thought you were hurting him. I'm glad I didn't use my bow." Vaeril smiled.

"Ugh excuse me, why are they so chill about this. We have sex than you find out I sucked this guy's dick and you don't care? The people in this world are confusing." I thought to myself.

I took a deep breath to calm down and remembered. "Right I can't expect this world to run like my old world. Sex is more open here, people only expect you to not have sex with others if your only in a committed relationship or married. But Elf culture is unique since they are the most open out of all the races."

I noticed the three of them were looking at me.

"What are you thinking Delsanra?" Rophalin asked.

"Oh Nothing!" I shook my head. "Just how are we going to get Orf back home?"

"Orf Can Walk." He smiled at us.

"No we can try to send you back with my journal before you take that long walk."

Rophalin and Vaeril nodded in agreement. "Not a bad idea." Vaeril stood up when saying this.

"Well I need to head back and change my clothes, thanks for letting me spend the night."

"No problem Vaeril." I smiled at him. But I thought, "That's It!!! You aren't going to talk to me about what just happened!! Fine! I will tell him about the sign on the journal later."

Rophalin stood up as well, "I need to go too, I got in this situation last night. How about we meet up for drinks later and I can tell you two about it?"

Vaeril and I agreed.

...

Orf sat awkwardly on my bean bag. He was so big it was nearly flat on the ground.

I sat on my bed with my legs crossed trying to go through my notes to see if anything could help me get Orf back.

I came to one page that spoke about Pillars.

...

The page Professor Taron held up had a simple diamond with wings drawn neatly facing the hall of students. He used his free hand to cover his mouth as he cleared his throat, his mustache shook as he prepared himself. Turning his side to the students he pushed the page forward toward an empty part of the stage he held lecture on. A flash of light appeared from the page and a beam of light shot forward.

Once the light dissipated a young looking woman who in reality was middle aged appeared at the empty part of the stage. The class had a collective reaction of awe to the magic being displayed.

"Hello Everyone!" The woman greeted the class, she was Professor Aila, the Potion head on campus. I also took her classes, which were the day after Professor Taron's.

"Hello Aila!" The professor smiled, his eyes closing and his mustache curling upward still hiding his lips. "And so that is a simple demonstration of a system of magic called a Pillar. Simply raise the symbol you have connected to an individual and if enough magic is flowing through you the spell should take care of itself."

"Geez way to show people the worst way of using the Pillar," a dark haired human sat beside me grumbling. His hair was a dark brown that fell down the sides of his face, his facial hair was rough. He looked much more like a traditional warrior than a healer with his gruff looks.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Oh... Hi sorry," He adjusted himself awkwardly. Clearly that was something he meant to keep to himself. "I'm sure Professor Talon will cover it but I already read and tried this system from the textbook."

"Oh please tell me more."

The human male smiled, "How about after class I give you a live demonstration."

The lecture continued but it was all a blur, my notes felt like they were written by someone else. My mind shifted forward to the meeting with the man.

...

After the lecture we had walked out to the west side of campus where a field spread out for a few miles. The man was wearing a long black cloak with a rugged grey top and brown pants. When he took off his cloak, the shirt he had been wearing revealed itself to be a makeshift tank top that exposed his skinny but muscular arms.

"I never introduced myself. My name is Ronni." He stretched out his hand, we shook as I introduced myself.

"Okay let's begin, remember in class the Professor told us we can create Pillars with anyone, this extends to almost anything. Think of a Pillar like a rope, that with the right tug you can bring the contents of the other end of the rope towards you." He looked in his bag for a few seconds before pulling out a notebook, an eraser, and a pencil. "In this notebook I drew various different symbols seeing which ones worked, many of them require a second person so I haven't figured out how to do that yet. But with objects I have gotten pretty consistent."

Taking the pencil in one hand he closed his fist tightly around it concentrating as hard as he could. Once a minute or so had passed he through the pencil as hard as he could, the object flew through the sky far into the field.

"Now that the pencil is far away we can use this," He raised the eraser he held in his opposite hand. On the eraser was a circle shape with the crewed simplistic drawing of a pencil in its center. Wings came from the ends of the circle and on the outer circle a special language had been written around the empty spaces of the circumference. "I modified the Pillar tag to be used only when I utter a specific phrase, in this case." He lifted the eraser in front of him, "Pencil Come To Me!" a beam of light appeared from the center of the eraser before the pencil in mid air appeared floating before dropping to the floor.

"Wow! That's so cool!"

"Yeah, you should try it some time. Again everything is in the textbook, and you can ask me for help anytime."

It was nice, I found out that Ronni lived on campus as well, just on the opposite side.

...

I looked up from the notes to Orf laying on the ground, his cock was semi erect. It was just hanging to the side of his waist, he honestly gave Vaeril a run for his money.

I shook my head. I needed to focus on getting Orf back home, but I couldn't remember how. There had to be a way.

I snapped my fingers, in my notes as written the solution off in the corner of one of the pages.

To send back person, simply repeat process with page facing person. Note: Much Magic needed for both summoning and sending back.

"Great I need to have a lot of magic to send you back Orf."

"Okay Small Elf Man."

"Hey please call me Delsanra, Orf."

"Okay Del!" He said with a stupid grin.

I sighed, feeling the magic inside of me feeling low I stood up and faced my notebook to Orf. He played with the carpet as I focused on him. Nothing.

"Ugh! I don't have enough Mana!" I rolled up in a ball on the floor. "Sorry Orf."

"Del No Need To Apologize. Orf Can Help With Mana."

I looked up to see Orf had pulled his cloth off and was sticking his dick in my face.
