Chapter 11: Babidis Majins
The arena was silent, every spectator frozen in shock as Majin Vegeta's brutal display sent tremors through the ground. Mr. Satan gulped, stepping forward with forced bravado.
"H-Hey! You… You think you're so tough?" he blurted, his voice wavering. "I'm the world champ! I'll put you in your place!" But as Majin Vegeta turned his glare on him, Satan's confidence melted away. "Uh… or… maybe not…"
Goku's gaze hardened, realizing what Vegeta had done. "Vegeta… You let Babidi control you, all to get more power?" His words cut through the air, anger and disbelief flickering in his eyes.
Vegeta's lips curled into a cold smirk. "You wouldn't understand, Kakarot. Power is everything." With a swift motion, he blasted another section of the arena, his energy narrowly missing Bulma and the others.
"Vegeta!" Goku shouted, fists clenched as he transformed into a Super Saiyan. "This isn't you. Stop this!"
Supreme Kai stepped forward, his face filled with urgency. "This isn't just about your pride, Vegeta! The fate of the entire universe hangs in the balance!"
But Vegeta sneered, his pride flashing in his eyes. "I care nothing for your universe, Kai," he snarled. "Today, I'll crush Kakarot and prove once and for all who is superior."
Goku glanced at him, seeing Vegeta's relentless determination. "Fine, if this is what you want. But not here. Too many innocent people could get hurt."
With a flicker of energy, the two fighters were transported to a rocky canyon, far from any onlookers. Supreme Kai watched them vanish, then turned, muttering to himself. "If I can't stop them, I'll have to stop Majin Buu myself." He sped off, sensing the Sealed Ball's dark energy in the distance.
Inside Vegeta's mind, Babidi's voice rang out. *"Forget your rival! I command you to kill Supreme Kai!"*
Vegeta scowled, his defiance burning bright. "You think you can control a Saiyan's pride, Babidi?" He released a pulse of energy, shattering Babidi's influence. "No one commands me."
Meanwhile, Goku handed Gohan a Senzu Bean. "Gohan, take this. Remember everything I taught you. Stay calm, and control your anger like you did against Cell."
Gohan nodded, swallowing the Senzu Bean as he glanced at his father. "Be careful, Dad. Vegeta… he's not himself."
Goku gave a reassuring smile. "I know, son. But this is something I have to do."
With Supreme Kai and Gohan heading toward Babidi's spaceship, Goku and Majin Vegeta powered up to Super Saiyan 2, their auras sparking like lightning in the canyon. They locked eyes, tension simmering.
"You ready, Kakarot?" Vegeta taunted, his smirk growing wider. "Or is the mighty Super Saiyan afraid?"
Goku's gaze sharpened. "Let's settle this, Vegeta."
Vegeta charged first, a blur of movement as he unleashed a flurry of punches, his fists crashing into Goku with deadly precision. A knee to the stomach, then a powerful kick, sent Goku flying back.
Goku twisted in midair, dodging Vegeta's next attack, and they both lashed out with simultaneous kicks. The impact created a shockwave, shaking the ground beneath them.
Vegeta smirked, gaining the upper hand as he drove Goku back with a brutal headbutt. "What's wrong, Kakarot? I thought you were stronger than this!"
Goku managed to catch Vegeta's fists, retaliating with two sharp knees to Vegeta's head, then a kick that slammed him against a mountainside. "I'm just getting started."
Enraged, Vegeta floated close, his energy flaring up as he and Goku charged at each other with everything they had. Their fists collided, shaking the canyon with the force of their blows.
Vegeta's fury flared as he unleashed a brutal series of punches to Goku's stomach, each blow knocking the wind from him. Goku staggered, breaking free with a surge of energy, but Vegeta pursued relentlessly, the battle intensifying with every exchange.
Meanwhile, inside Babidi's ship, Gohan and Supreme Kai encountered a swarm of warriors resembling Pui Pui. Gohan powered up, his face determined. "Out of my way!" With one burst of energy, he dispatched all ten opponents, clearing the path deeper into the ship.
Back in the canyon, Goku and Majin Vegeta continued their fierce battle, neither backing down. Goku attempted a punch, but Vegeta appeared behind him, firing a devastating energy blast that sent him spiraling back. As Goku recovered, they launched into an intense energy clash, shockwaves echoing through the air as they fought for dominance.
The two warriors strained against each other, each one fueled by pride and resolve, neither willing to back down. The canyon trembled under the force of their battle, the outcome uncertain as they pushed beyond their limits.
As Gohan and Supreme Kai made their way down to the lowest level of Babidi's spaceship, their hearts pounded with anticipation. They had only one objective: stop the resurrection of Majin Buu, no matter the cost. But as they stepped into the shadowed chamber, it was eerily quiet. The Sealed Ball stood before them, casting an ominous glow, yet Babidi and Dabura were nowhere in sight.
"Is it… over?" Gohan whispered, but his instincts warned him otherwise. Suddenly, footsteps echoed through the darkness, and Babidi and Dabura emerged from behind the cocoon-like Sealed Ball. They were not alone.
Gohan's eyes widened as another figure stepped forward—a tall, armored warrior with a dark, cold aura and the Majin symbol blazing on his forehead.
"Gohan," Supreme Kai said gravely, recognizing the figure immediately. "That's Cooler. He's Frieza's older brother, and he's far more ruthless."
Cooler's lips curled into a smirk as he took a menacing step forward. "So, this is the son of the man who killed my younger brother Frieza. I'm disappointed. I expected… more."
Gohan clenched his fists, his aura flaring in response. "I don't care who you are. I won't let you bring back Majin Buu!"
Babidi chuckled, his eyes filled with malice. "I've waited so long to witness your demise, Supreme Kai," he sneered. With a wave of his hand, the entire room shifted, and in an instant, they were transported outside the ship. The sky darkened as an oppressive energy filled the air, intensifying the darkness around them.
The group looked up and saw two statues on a cliff: Piccolo and Krillin, both petrified by Dabura's wicked spell. Gohan's heart tightened with anger.
"No… Not Piccolo and Krillin…" Gohan whispered, his teeth gritted as he turned back to face Dabura and Majin Cooler. "You're going to pay for this!"
Dabura sneered, drawing his sword. "I hope you're ready, Gohan. This time, you won't have anyone to save you."
Cooler cracked his knuckles, his eyes gleaming with the dark power of Babidi's magic. "Let's see if you're even a fraction of your father's strength. I intend to make this interesting."
"Gohan," Supreme Kai spoke, his voice steady despite the tension in the air, "I'll handle Babidi. You focus on Dabura and Cooler. Don't hold back."
Gohan nodded, the weight of his mission heavy on his shoulders. "I won't, Supreme Kai. This ends now."
As Supreme Kai charged at Babidi, Gohan powered up, transforming into Super Saiyan 2. Lightning crackled around him as he stared down his opponents, his resolve unwavering. Cooler and Dabura lunged at him simultaneously, their combined energies crashing into Gohan with a devastating force.
Gohan blocked Dabura's sword strikes, his muscles straining under the pressure. Cooler seized the opening, firing a series of energy blasts that sent Gohan tumbling back. Gohan quickly recovered, his aura blazing as he launched a counterattack, striking Dabura with a flurry of powerful punches. Cooler charged forward, intercepting Gohan with a kick to his side, sending him skidding across the battlefield.
"You're strong," Gohan growled, wiping blood from his lip. "But I've trained too hard to lose to you two."
Dabura laughed mockingly. "This is only the beginning, boy."
Nearby, Supreme Kai clashed with Babidi, evading blasts of dark magic. "You won't win, Babidi!" Supreme Kai shouted. "Your evil ends here!"
Babidi merely cackled, his eyes gleaming with cruelty. "Oh, Supreme Kai, you're as naive as ever. Nothing will stop Majin Buu's resurrection now!"
The ground trembled, and a malevolent energy pulsed from the Sealed Ball. Gohan's heart raced as he felt the terrifying power beginning to stir within the cocoon.
"This… this can't be happening," Gohan muttered. But steeling his resolve, he locked eyes with Cooler and Dabura. "I have to stop you both before it's too late!"
As the battle raged on, Gohan pushed himself to his limits, his power surging as he fought against overwhelming odds. The world around them grew darker as the most powerful force in the universe loomed, waiting to be unleashed.
The canyon echoed with the sound of clashing fists and powerful energy blasts as Goku and Majin Vegeta fought relentlessly. Suddenly, Vegeta halted, breathing heavily, and looked at Goku with a haunted expression.
"Kakarot," Vegeta began, his voice filled with a strange mix of anger and sorrow. "Do you know why I allowed Babidi to take control of me?"
Goku narrowed his eyes, frowning. "I've been wondering that myself, Vegeta. Why would you throw away everything?"
Vegeta's lips twisted into a bitter smile. "It's because I wanted to be evil again. To regain the power I once had. Living here on Earth, I've grown soft. I… I've started to care about people." His fists clenched, voice growing harsh. "I was a warrior, Kakarot! The Saiyan prince, feared by all! But years of peace, a wife… a son… I've started to feel something I never should have attachment. These petty connections, this weakness… I needed Babidi to free me from it!"
Goku's expression hardened. "So, that's your excuse? You're willing to betray your own family because you think it's 'weak' to care about them?"
Vegeta's face twisted in anger. "Don't lecture me, Kakarot! You don't understand what it's like to lose your edge, to feel yourself slipping into the softness of a meaningless life."
"Meaningless?" Goku shot back, his voice rising. "You don't get it, do you? Your family the people you're pushing away that's your real strength, Vegeta! And you're just throwing it all away because you're scared of facing the good in yourself!"
Vegeta's face darkened, and his aura flared as he roared. "Enough!" He charged, and the battle erupted again with renewed intensity, each warrior determined to prove the other wrong.
Back in front of Babidi's ship, Gohan and Supreme Kai stood ready, their eyes locked on the Sealed Ball as ominous energy crackled from within. Babidi cackled, glancing at the Energy Meter with glee.
"It's at full!" he cried, his voice echoing with twisted excitement. "Finally, the most powerful force in the universe will be reborn! Majin Buu is here!"
Supreme Kai's heart sank as he looked to Gohan. "This is bad, Gohan… if Majin Buu awakens, there may be no stopping him."
Gohan gritted his teeth, his energy spiking as he readied himself. "I won't just stand by and let this happen. Not like I did with Cell." He thrust his hands forward, gathering his power. "Take this Electric Kamehameha!"
A surge of electric-blue energy shot from Gohan's palms, crashing against the cocoon. But he didn't stop there. Again and again, he fired, determined to stop Majin Buu before he emerged.
The cocoon trembled under the relentless assault, and for a moment, the steam erupting from it began to wane.
Gohan's breath came in gasps as he lowered his hands, hopeful. "Did… did it work?"
But then, the steam returned, thicker and more menacing, hissing as it poured from the Sealed Ball. The cocoon's outer layer cracked, and Supreme Kai took a step back, fear gripping his heart.
"No… it's too late," Supreme Kai whispered, his face pale. "Majin Buu… he's here."
With a loud crack, the cocoon burst open, filling the air with a dark, overpowering energy. Babidi's laughter rang out, triumphant.
"Welcome back, Majin Buu!"
