I told him the destination, and he looked at me suspiciously and asked again. My answer remained unchanged, his curiosity intensified. Clearly, I looked like I was heading to a public bathhouse, but there was no such facility near East Lake Green View, and it was far from where I called the car. Only a lunatic would travel that far just to take a bath.
But then, there's no shortage of lunatics in the world, like me.
Today, I was dressed in dark blue denim overalls and a loose, white heart-shaped T-shirt. My short hair was tied back with a matching hairband, and I wore white leather sandals. This was one of the few outfits for normal people that I had managed to snatch from Mrs. Tu.
