Keira Olsen's purpose for coming to this banquet was to try to make Lewis Horton and the Allen Family reconcile.

Lewis, looking cold and gentlemanly on the surface, was in fact very attentive and tender.

Such a person, if he wanted to reconcile with the Allen Family, would win their favor without them noticing.
