Chapter 3: Uchiha clan complex I

Konohagakure, Year 72

Three days after awakening in a body that wasn't his own, Igor, now Sasuke, was finally discharged from the hospital, his body confirmed to be in much better condition. Dressed in a robe bearing the Uchiha clan crest, he reflected on the clan that was once feared by thousands of enemy shinobi but now consisted of only three remaining members, two of whom were rogue ninjas.

As he walked towards the Uchiha compound, Sasuke found himself the center of gossip. "Poor boy, I heard his brother destroyed the clan." "That terrible man." "How could he do that?" Even amidst these whispers, there were also words of encouragement and sympathetic glances. He held his head high and continued his journey.

The once bustling Uchiha compound was now eerily silent. As he walked through the streets, Sasuke couldn't help but recall the memories of that brutal night... which, in truth, wasn't so different from the wars he had participated in. The ground, once stained red with the blood of his clan members, was now completely clean, as if nothing had ever happened. "Seems like Root has some good cleaners," he thought amusedly.

Soon, Sasuke arrived at his home. In his memories, the family atmosphere had been warm and harmonious, his father cold and rigid, and his mother gentle and virtuous. "Itachi, huh? What an idiot," he thought, marveling at how much someone could sacrifice for their country. Sighing, he decided it was best not to dwell on those thoughts.

Approaching the front door, he opened it. Although he had been gone for only a few days, dust had already accumulated. The house felt cold and empty. Taking off his shoes as his memories dictated, he entered. The furniture was all in the same place, almost as if no one had been there. But how could that be? After all, this was the home of the Uchiha clan leader. What valuables could possibly be left?

Stepping out into the courtyard, Sasuke realized that those three days hadn't been a total waste. He had gotten used to his new body and, more importantly, had mastered a series of hand seals. "Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu!" A ten-foot fireball erupted from his mouth, shooting straight into the sky. "Hahaha, yes, this is ninjutsu, this is power!" Sasuke thought, watching the scene with glee. "My body is much stronger than before. If this seven-year-old shinobi's body were brought to Earth, it would break all world records."

After the euphoria of performing a jutsu, Sasuke quickly calmed down, considering the problems ahead. Orochimaru, with his eyes on his body, Danzo, always seeking power, Akatsuki, filled with rogue S-rank ninjas, Obito trying to manipulate him, and Madara, seeking to be reborn and plunge the world into an illusion. All of them were entangled in the plots of the Fourth Great Shinobi War. These were, at the very least, obstacles to be faced in the future. But knowing the story, he could take advantage of some favorable situations.

Reflecting on this, Sasuke came to the conclusion that the most arduous task he would face would be awakening his Mangekyo Sharingan. "I hope it has to do with the quality of yin chakra I possess, and not with having to kill someone close to me." In the original story, Sasuke had awakened his eyes upon discovering that Itachi had become a rogue ninja. However, thinking about it now was pointless, as he only had one tomoe in each eye.

Putting those thoughts aside, he decided to explore the house in search of any techniques or scrolls that might have survived. He began to search the rooms, opening doors and drawers. With each place he searched, his expectations grew, but they always ended in frustration. He found children's toys and clothes, but nothing of real use. The lack of scrolls and techniques was disappointing. "Could it be that everything was taken after the tragedy?" he wondered.

Finally, he reached the training room, where the Uchihas used to gather to practice and discuss strategies. The atmosphere still seemed to thrum with the energy of past training sessions. Sasuke looked around, but to his disappointment, there was nothing of value there. The tatami mats were dusty, and the training equipment seemed abandoned. "What happened to all of this?" he wondered.

Sasuke sat on the floor, crossing his arms and reflecting on his situation. He had hoped to find some kind of secret technique that could help him on his journey, but the reality was that he would have to become strong on his own. "Looks like I'll have to do this my way," he thought, his determination growing.
