Chapter 5: 5. Killing Spree
The hall was silent during lunch break as Yoji ate his food with Rena and Yuki, with Yuki on his right a bit away and Rena sitting on Yuki's right as well. The students were nervous as they sat in the hall, as he could see many boys sweating and being scared.
"So, any idea why the killer would kill one of our professors?" Yoji asked the two girls.
"Huh? Wh-Why are you asking us that so suddenly?" Yuki asked him in surprise.
"I'm just curious. I saw it on the morning news and saw the message." Yoji said to her with a shrug.
"Well, I don't have much of an idea about it. But I think I can guess what it is." Yuki said as she looked at him.
"Really? What is it?" Yoji asked her in fake curiosity.
"Well..." Yuki drawled out as she looked at Rena.
Rena flinched when she saw her gaze as she then looked at Yoji who was also looking at her as she looked down at her plate and swallowed some of her saliva.
"Well?" Yoji called as he looked at the girl.
"I-I don't know how to say this but, that professor was one of the people that those guys have had contact with and he used the girls as well." Rena said to him in a small voice.
"I see. I guess the mystery killer wants to get the rest?" Yoji asked as he looked at her.
"Maybe. I think that might be the reason. Still, it was pretty disturbing to see the message." Yuki said as she poked her food.
"Well, if they are anything like those three, then I suppose anyone would be pissed." Yoji said drawing the gazes of the two girls.
"Aren't you disturbed by it Yoji? The professor was tortured, and a message was written using his blood." Rena asked him as she felt a bit afraid of that.
"Well, I myself didn't participate in any of that so I'm certain that I'm safe from him. So I don't have much to fear." Yoji said to her with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Well, I guess that's true." Yuki said as she understood the point.
"In any case, I have seen that many guys were pretty nervous about it, and I even saw those walking while having spooked faces." Yoji said to them as he ate.
"I think it's normal for them to be scared after seeing that." Rena said as she drank some water to calm herself down.
"I think it's deserved. Those bastards deserve what's coming for them." Yuki said with a hint of resentment in her tone.
'Finally. They will be punished.' Yuki thought to herself as she ate some food.
'Well, they originally would have gotten away with it, considering what kind of a world this is. But now that's not the case since I'm here after all.' Yoji thought to himself as he ate his food.
When he had first entered the university grounds, he saw many boys who were sweating and had scared faces and looked like they have been spooked. To other people, it might seem like they are scared because of the murder of the professor, but he knows the truth.
All of them are like this because they are scared that the killer would come for them next, because they had also used the girls provided by the three douchebags after all. And they are right to be fearing for their lives after all.
Even if the professor had been discovered, there were still some more that needed to be discovered after all. It isn't like he only went after one person as he knew that there would be many bastards in the university.
'I don't know how the other girls will be. But that isn't going to stop me from killing the rest of the professors and students.' Yoji thought to himself as he ate his lunch in peace.
After he was done eating he went to attend the rest of the classes. After which he went back to his room after saying bye to Rena and Yuki as he wanted to be ready to start the hunt again.
One of the wishes he had made was for him to be able to control technology of various kinds, which resulted in him becoming a technopath. Because of that, he was able to gain the information regarding how many of the people in the university has accepted the services of the three bastards.
He wasn't surprised when he saw that a good chunk of the university population has accepted it and were using the girls for their own pleasure. This only served to disgust him even more as he didn't find any sympathy for the bastards.
"Soon, I will come for the three of you very soon. Until that happens, I want you to live in fear for your lives." Yoji muttered to himself in his room as he made the preparations.
At this time, Rena and Yuki were sitting on a bench in the campus. Yesterday, Yuki had told Rena about what she had done for her, and Rena also told the girl that she was there when Yoji questioned her.
Yuki was obviously surprised by it, and Rena said that she wondered as to why Yuki would suddenly go to some place and had wanted to learn why she had done that. After which Rena tearfully apologised to her for all the things that she had caused her.
"Rena. I know that you made a bad decision regarding not telling him but... Look, it was my decision okay." Yuki said to her as she sighed.
"That doesn't mean I wasn't the one at fault. If I had only just told him then this wouldn't have happened. You know what he said right, I didn't trust him enough. And what I did that day..." Rena said as she looked down with tears.
"I know that what you did wasn't a smart decision, nor mine. But they also had your videos to threaten you, right?" Yuki asked her with a sad tone.
"Yes." Rena said with a nod.
"That makes this more difficult. If they were to post them, then you will also be affected harshly. Especially considering how our society is." Yuki said as she held her head.
(A/N: I'm not being sexist here, but uhh, from what I managed to gather about Japanese society from the net, they are still quite patriarchal about women, or is that just false information? And how are women who are raped in Japan treated by others? It would help to know.)
"It's not something we can do, Yuki. I just wish that I trusted him enough instead of letting those guys do that to me." Rena said in anguish as she sat there.
"You still love him, don't you?" Yuki asked her as she looked at her.
"Yes. Even if that time, I was blinded by lust and said those things, I love him. If only I could've just stopped myself from going there." Rena said in regret at her past actions.
"You held out for two weeks Rena. And considering what those guys do to the women they get their hands on, that was pretty impressive." Yuki said as she tried to make her see some good.
"Yeah? Well, I should've resisted more and just told the truth to Yoji. If I had done that, then none of this would've happened. Yoji wouldn't be like this and you wouldn't have to suffer for my mistakes." Rena said to her as she couldn't bring herself to look at her friends eyes.
Yuki looked at Rena before she looked down as well. It isn't like she is okay with what Rena had done, she was also angry that the girl had let the guys use her like that, but she didn't know if her friend would be able to handle that. And she herself had done something foolish so she doesn't have any grounds to say anything regarding the matter.
'Both of us were idiots. But, at least someone is going around and killing those bastards. I'm happy about that.' Yuki thought to herself as she smiled slightly to herself.
After that they just stayed with each other before they went to their separate rooms. Night feel and soon all the students went back to their own places, but in the home of one student, well, he was thrown on the ground as he coughed while wrapping his arms around his stomach.
"P-Please, I'll apologize okay. I-I don't want to die." The student said in fear as he looked in front of him.
Standing in front of him is a guy wearing black hoodie and pants and boots. There wasn't anything in his hands except for the gloves that he is currently wearing and a mask and black glasses.
"Did you think a simple apology would suffice for all the things that you had done to those girls?" The guy said as he walked towards him.
"Th-Theh were already trained and they followed my orders of their own will. So-So, it wasn't my fault." The student said in a desperate tone.
"As if I'm gonna believe that. I don't care much about that. The only thing I care about is killing people like you." The guy said to him in a calm tone.
'Sh-Shit. He really is planning to kill me. Fuck that bitch. This is all because of her!' The student thought to himself in anger.
He looked around nervously and saw his phone and then he grabbed a vase and threw it at the guy and jumped to get his phone. But he didn't get far as he was kicked on his jaw as he thrown up before he was thrown on the bed.
"Mmmmmhmmmm!" The student cried out without being able to open his mouth.
"Don't bother. I broke your jaw." The guy said as he looked over the guy.
The student looked at him with terrified eyes, as he didn't even hear the vase break, only for his eyes to widen when he saw the vase sitting safely on the table he had taken it from. Then his eyes were drawn to the killer as he pulled out a knife from one of his pockets as his fear increased as he saw the glint of the blade.
"Oh, you peed yourself." The guy said in a nonchalant tone as he looked at his pants.
'No no no. I don't want to die. Th-This is all those guys fault. They're the ones who brought the girl to me, so why am I being killed! They should be the one this guy should be going for.' The student cried out in fear on his mind as he looked at the killer, terrified.
"Well, hope you enjoy your time in hell." The guy said as he raised his weapon as the student watched with wide and fearful eyes as he was stabbed.
The blood was coated in blood when it was all done, as the killer wrote another message on the wall before he left the room. His clothes wasn't hit by any of the blood as he made sure that he was careful about it.
After that he went on a killing spree as he killed a lot more of the people who were using the women that were trained by the three douchebags.
After he was done for the night, he went inside a room and removed the hoodie and mask to show Yoji as he smiled to himself and looked at the weapon in his hand which was coated in the blood of his victims and covered in a plastic bag.
"That will decrease the douchebags in the world, even if only a little. Most of them were also giving the same response as well." Yoji said with a smile as he cleaned his knife of any blood and other human residue.
'I wonder how the girls who were trained before Rena and Yuki would be taking this situation? That also reminds me, that professor is also a part of this, and Haruka is his slave as well. Hmm, I wonder how that will go?' Yoji thought to himself before he decided to get some sleep.
