I'm only allowing Toji to have that title, and for good reason. I would've left Potential Man as well.

Boruto continued working at the stream, his determination growing with each failed attempt. After countless hours of effort, he had switched from using the fishing pole to a long stick, reasoning that it would offer him more control and a better challenge. He had broken several sticks in the process, each failure adding fuel to his fire. If I'm going to be Sasuke's student, Boruto thought, I can't just complete the tasks he gives me—I need to surpass his expectations.
It wasn't enough for Boruto to simply catch one piranha. As a ninja aiming to follow in the footsteps of the Seventh Hokage and the legendary Sasuke Uchiha, he needed to go beyond what was asked. That's why, instead of just catching a single fish, Boruto had set his sights on catching every single piranha in the stream.
Hours passed as Boruto honed his chakra reinforcement technique, each successful catch bringing him closer to mastering the art. By the time the sun hung low in the sky, casting a golden glow over the landscape, Boruto had finally succeeded. He stood by the stream, panting slightly but grinning with satisfaction. I did it.
He threw the last piranha into the bucket, wiping sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand. At some point, he had run back to the village to grab a bucket, knowing that he would need it if he intended to catch them all. Now, as he looked down at the bucket full of piranhas, he felt an immense sense of pride. His mastery of chakra reinforcement had come a long way since the start of the day.
Whistling leisurely, Boruto leaned against a nearby tree, glancing around for Sasuke. "Wait... where's Sasuke?" he muttered, scanning the area. He had assumed Sasuke would have been watching him from the shadows, waiting to see if he'd succeed.
"Here." Sasuke's voice came from behind him, so sudden and calm that Boruto nearly jumped out of his skin.
"AH!" Boruto spun around, barely managing to hide his surprise. Sasuke was standing there, dressed in casual clothes, as if he had just casually appeared out of thin air. His superhuman speed was nothing short of impressive, though Boruto was doing his best not to show how startled he was. "I mean, hey, Sasuke," he quickly added, trying to act nonchalant.
Sasuke, with his ever-composed demeanor, glanced down at the bucket full of piranhas. His expression remained neutral, but Boruto could see the faintest glimmer of approval in his eyes. "...Oh, you caught all of them?" Sasuke remarked, his voice calm as always. But beneath that exterior, Boruto could sense that his initiative had been recognized.
"Yep!" Boruto puffed out his chest, feeling the weight of his accomplishment. "So, am I ready to become your student?" he asked, his excitement barely contained.
Sasuke studied him for a moment, as if weighing his next words carefully. Then, with a fluid motion, he pulled out a scroll from within his cloak and handed it to Boruto. "Learn this jutsu," Sasuke said, his tone as serious as ever. "You have three days. If you can complete it, I'll accept you as my student."
Boruto's heart raced with anticipation as he took the scroll from Sasuke's hand. He eagerly unrolled it, his eyes scanning the text. The name of the technique written at the top of the scroll made his breath catch in his throat. "Chidori."
It was the same jutsu Sasuke had become famous for, the technique he had learned from his own sensei, Kakashi Hatake, the Sixth Hokage. Boruto had heard stories about the Chidori—how it was a devastatingly powerful lightning-based technique that required immense speed and precision to execute. It was one of the most iconic jutsu in the ninja world.
"Chidori..." Boruto whispered in disbelief, his eyes widening as the weight of the task set in. Sasuke was giving him the chance to learn his signature jutsu. The enormity of it wasn't lost on him. This wasn't just any test—it was a challenge that would prove whether Boruto had the potential to stand alongside Sasuke as his student.
Sasuke, watching Boruto's reaction, gave a slight nod. "It won't be easy," he said, his voice quiet but firm. "The Chidori requires more than just chakra control—it demands a high level of precision, speed, and understanding of lightning release. If you fail, it's not just the technique that will suffer... you could seriously hurt yourself."
Boruto swallowed hard, the reality of the challenge settling in. But despite the warning, his heart was racing with excitement. This is my chance. He had always wanted to prove himself, not just as Naruto's son, but as a shinobi in his own right. And now, Sasuke had given him the opportunity to take his training to the next level.
Sasuke turned, preparing to leave. "You have three days," he repeated over his shoulder. "If you can master the Chidori, we'll talk about the next step."
Before Boruto could say anything, Sasuke had already vanished, disappearing as quickly as he had appeared.
Left alone in the training field, Boruto clenched the scroll tightly in his hands, his eyes burning with determination. Three days to master Chidori... The enormity of the task weighed on him, but at the same time, he felt a surge of motivation. I can do this. I have to.
He sat down on the grass, unrolling the scroll fully and studying its contents. The instructions were detailed, outlining the steps needed to perform the jutsu. Boruto's mind raced as he began processing the information. Chakra control, speed, lightning release—he had some experience with these concepts, but nothing at the level the Chidori required.
As the sun began to set over the horizon, casting long shadows across the training field, Boruto stayed seated, his eyes glued to the scroll. His mind was already working on a plan. Three days... I'm not just going to learn this. I'm going to master it.
Sasuke's Perspective – Back at Home
Meanwhile, Sasuke returned home, where he was greeted by Sarada, who had been waiting for him. They had spent the previous day together as a family, and now she eyed him curiously, wondering what he had planned for Boruto.
"How did it go?" Sarada asked, raising an eyebrow.
Sasuke smirked slightly, though his face remained mostly unreadable. "He caught all the piranhas," he said, his tone nonchalant as he sat down. "But I've given him a real challenge now."
Sarada leaned forward, intrigued. "What kind of challenge?"
Sasuke glanced at her, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Chidori."
Sarada's eyes widened. "You're teaching him that?" she asked, clearly surprised. "I mean, I've been practicing it, but it's hard..."
"He's ambitious," Sasuke replied. "If he wants to be my student, he'll need to prove he can handle something more than basic tasks."
Sarada nodded thoughtfully, her respect for Boruto growing slightly. If he can master the Chidori... maybe he really does have potential.

[Auther: Yo. Since all of Boruto's classmates are reskins of their parents, I'll be actually giving them backstory and motivations and sh*t.]
