Chapter 39: Chapter Thirty eight

Isabel POV

My eyes were red from all the crying. As I sat in the park watching the sun go down.

" I knew you would be here." I heard someone say behind me. I turned around to see him there. I quickly cleaned the tears that were hanging at the corner of my eyes. " I don't wish to talk to you right now Miguel."

" Well you came to my office looking for me for the first time in over a month so I'm forced to believe otherwise." I ignored him and just kept staring into a space in the sky.

" You don't want to even look at me."

" Are you done making out with your girlfriend."

" Isabel don't do that. Don't act like you are some saint."

" What do you mean by don't do that?" I asked with my voice raised a bit above normal.

" I saw the pictures."

" What pictures? I really have no idea what you're talking about." From the look in his eyes I could tell he was sorting of hurt but he was quick enough to mask it under a smile.
