Ye Hai dismissed much of the superstitious language in the Vampire Bible, seeing right through it to the essential truths. After contemplating for over ten more minutes and confirming he hadn't made any mistakes, he picked up his phone and called Blade.
"Blade, is that Frost still alive?"
Blade chuckled. "Don't worry, even though Jamal Afari tortures him daily, the vampires' freakish recovery abilities make him heal quickly. He's been tortured to the point of wanting to flee into the sunlight and disintegrate."
"Jamal Afari? Who is he?"
"He's my adoptive father, a stubborn old man. He's human!"
"Great, I'm on my way to you. I've cracked the secret of the Blood God, so we have work to do."
After hanging up the phone, Ye Hai soared into the air, flying towards Blade's residence.
