Chapter 20: Chapter 20: Plan A.

 I was right. The tower was definitely cramped with all of these people inside. The sun had gone down and I was sitting on the small balcony, dangling my legs. I had left the door open so I could hear Jacob shut down every plan Sam came up with so far. They've been at it for nearly an hour and haven't gotten far at all. 

 Sam had just suggested finding a boat and sneaking onto the island from the northern side of it and taking over from there. 

 "What about the women and children? You can't just kill their husbands and fathers." Jacob shifted in his seat, and sighed. I internally groaned and turned my body around to intervene. 

 "He's right, even the mayor's men don't know any better. We can't just kill them." I piped up.
