Chapter 8: Mother Backstory
An Jiuyue born in a prestigious family in a capital city, she was a great beauty following her mother who was the concubine.
Her mother is one of the concubine who received an attention from her father when she was young, she was originally just a poor farmer daughter. But one day, her father discovered her mother and bring her back as his concubine.
Unfortunately the good days didn't last long because her mother passed away when she was just 6 years old. She believed it was attempted murder by the main wife because of the jealousy.
Her life become difficult afterwards, her step sister, her half brother are against her. When she almost 18 years old, the age that someone could get married, they schemed against her and sold her on mountainous area.
She knows, she can no longer return back to her home. Even though her father treat her well, but he is also face saving. If woman lost chastity their family would simply kicked them out.
Her husband bought her and they got 2 children together, however it is not a happy family. If other people got her she might be pampered and be asked to stay at home because of her beauty. They don't want to make her become tanned and ugly. Instead they wanted her to stay beauty and be appreciated.
The one who bought her had tendency to beat his own wife, when other man saw her then he will beat her again. It is not her fault to be born very beautiful, if you are jealous then wash the family clothes yourself.
There are a moment of happiness when she got Hao Dani and Hao Ruofei, but the pain that her husband inflicted on her make her wanted to leave the home.
Until one day, after her husband almost beat her to death. She went out of the home and she was being kidnapped and sold to the brothel, her life was miserable. Her second daughter was born at the brothel with an unknown man.
One day the Lord Marquies Feng came and awestruck by her beauty, she then being brought to the marquies family. At first she was happy but then the scheme of the madam family make her miserable too.
Her 3rd daughter and 2nd son are not worthy eventhough they are the child of Lord Marquies Feng, because he had numerous illegal child. One or two addition is nothing for him, it is just his enjoyment..
She thought she would be happy but then Lord Marquies only appreciate her beauty but didn't love her at all even if she had a child 1daughter and 1 son.
She was schemed and being kicked out and was sent to another brothel, eventhough she was a bit old. But the beauty is still there, the brothel keep her until she got sick with syphilis.
Hao Ruofei POV
'System, tell me everything about this woman?' ordered Ruofei mentally.
"Ok host," the system then scanned the brain of An Jiuyue. "Sigh, host your mother is truly pitiful"
'What happen?' asked Ruofei mentally.
System then told her about everything that happen from An Jiuyue born until today, ".... long story short, she was born from great family but lives worst than cow"
