Chapter 51: Reawakening

Remirg Kryptos didn't a feel a single thing. An eerie silence veiling his deep sleep, darkness enveloping him, making his body incapable of movement, both in his dreams and his physical body, lying peacefully on a soft bed.

The only different feature his body reflected was the slight faint glow emanating from the very center of his torso, right where his heart lay. Or rather, where his magical core lay. 

The deep purple light was pulsing rhythmically, clearly depicting the progression of an ominous procedure. Something about which Remirg had not been notified by the Simulator.

The magical core residing right beside his heart was undergoing drastic changes. Almost as if metamorphosizing. 

It had survived long enough to evolve to its final stage, deciding at what level a mage can ascend to. The final evolving slashed a benchmark to how much prana capacity an awakened being can behold.
